@keithinvest_ I lived in the Isle of Man for 4 years and it was only bookings but moving back to Scotland and all the Turkish shops they are walk in...we have like 4 next tk each other...Do they impact your business?

@Built2Compound Great question, booking system ( Booksy ) some people know of it, the newer barbers to the shops cater towards walk ins if they find themselves free, we prioritise bookings mainly 📑

How our barbershop payment structure works⤵️ Each barber charges according to the time and service they provide. Across the shop, the average haircut is £27, reflecting the quality of our work and the experience we offer. Every barber earns 45% of the revenue they generate each week. We keep this percentage consistent, as we’ve found it’s the most sustainable model for both our team and the business. As barbers grow in skill and demand, we increase their service prices rather than changing commission rates, allowing both the barber and the business to benefit. A fully booked barber averages 12 haircuts a day, generating around £324 per day before tips, and all tips are kept in full by the barber. Over a typical five-day week, that’s around £1,620(Gross) in revenue. The barber takes home approximately £729 in commission, while the remaining £891 covers the costs of running the business—including rent, utilities, products, insurance, card fees, marketing, equipment, maintenance, taxes, and reinvesting into the shop to keep improving for both our team and our clients. It’s a model that’s designed to be fair, sustainable, and beneficial for everyone in the long term

@Rossmc_85 Mine was super quick. The internal team are really hot...the issue is with the outbound team from your exaiting provider dragging their feet...But the Inbound team are all over it good luck!

Question for all the Trading 212 people who have transferred a SIPP over. How long did it take? 4 weeks in now, all paperwork signed etc but still nothing. Its an old workplace if that makes a difference 🤔

@_LamNam_ Imagine everyone gets scared and runs to the gold shop because it feels safe. Then the scare isn't as bad as they thought, so they leave the gold shop and go back to buying shares. Gold goes down, shares go up. It's just money moving around.

Can someone explain to me like I’ve had a recent brain injury, why gold now dumps on geopolitical tensions?

📍 Day 3 | Today's Buys Started my position in $MU today for the reasons I shared earlier. I also added more $AMZN, which now becomes my third largest holding. Alongside that, I kept building my positions in FWRG and XNAQ. The goal is for these two ETFs to become my largest holdings over time. I won't lie... I was tempted to add more $NVDA today, but I stuck to the plan. No buys or sells in my ISA or crypto portfolio today. What did you pick up today? 👇 #Built2Compound

@JE_Investing Yeah, VWRP gets around on this platform and also trading 212 doesnt really promote FRWG like it does Vanguard. Cost is why i also picked XNAQ...so far so good...

🚨 The Bank of England’s latest Financial Stability Report has put AI investing under the spotlight. The report highlights stretched valuations, increasing market concentration, rising leverage and the unprecedented amount of capital flowing into AI companies. It’s an interesting reminder that while AI may be one of the biggest technological shifts of our lifetime, markets can sometimes get ahead of reality. As a long-term investor, I’m not changing my strategy because of one report. But I do think it’s important to understand both the opportunity and the risks. What do you think? Are we in the early stages of an AI bubble, or just at the beginning of a revolution?

$NOW will benefit massively from AI: Enterprises will not let autonomous AI agents run wild without proper guardrails. We’ve already seen horror stories of companies losing critical data because of unchecked AI actions. This is where ServiceNow shines. $NOW is positioned to become the orchestration layer — the AI control tower — providing the governance, compliance, and oversight enterprises desperately need. On top of that, AI is going to generate exponentially more code, which means significantly more bugs, incidents, and trouble tickets. All of that drives even greater demand for $NOW’s platform. $NOW has one of the clearest, most defensible AI tailwinds in the entire SaaS space.
