@srangercycling @metpoliceuk what sort of thing do they inappropriately action or ignore? Most ignores will come from VRN not being visible in the video, or if you have got into an argument with the driver before or after reported incident

NIP issued. Anyone else noticed a big speed up in action on phone reports by the @metpoliceuk since the new year. Typically next day now. Impressive and good job on the allegations team. If they can also fix the issue on the collisions issues that will go a long way.

@CBikeLondon @metpoliceuk I'm tempted to photograph the drivers that I see, out on lessons, but it's illegal for me to do so, during tuition, for obvious reasons. Having said that, the amount of instructors, I see on their phones is infuriating.

@OliveOilx666 That would be even more important to report. A driver using a phone with children onboard is even more important to stop, so I’d certainly point out in the report any minors onboard if I noticed them

I did a 15min ride today. Home to work. Tally: 1 hgv driver on a handheld call, and 1 suv driver under the influence tried to run me over while stopped at a red light. I kid you not, one couldn’t make this up. Both reported.

Says he does it for peoples "safety" but if that was the case he would have phoned the police right then, rather than let the driver carry on and potentially kill someone.
