@CalDigitSupport Hey, I got one of yours DP2.0 to HDMI2.1 adapter, but it does not seem to support VRR, though I think the underlying chip should, is there anyway to fix that? Thanks!
English

@itsmefinstii Sorry about that! Pretty much every Thunderbolt dock of ours in-between works with USB-C! Our TS4 would be a better fit if it's not too late to return the TS3 Plus.
English

@CalDigitSupport Yeah it's the TS3+. It's fantastic on my MacBook, my dumbass just didn't realize my work Lenovo was USB-C, I thought it had thunderbolt as well since the dongles were "cross compatible". Oh well, back to dock+dongle life for me I guess 😢
English

@itsmefinstii Pretty much no USB-C hosts support this, which is why we consider USB4 the minimum requirement for the TS5 Plus.
If you're talking about the TS3 Plus, it's because the chipset it uses is from before backwards compatibility from Thunderbolt to USB was even an option.
English

@itsmefinstii The TS5 Plus leverages a technology called PCIe Passthrough to drive its Ethernet and the majority of the USB ports. This gives the dock expandability beyond what Thunderbolt natively supports, but the host computer has to support PCIe passthrough to support these features.

@akashpatel Our offices are closed over the weekends, but we'll get back to you as soon as we're able!
English

@CalDigitSupport Is anyone at support? I called the phone number and left a vm, also sent an email granted over the weekend but an automated reply would have been good!
English

hey @CalDigitSupport, any idea when the elements hub will come back into stock in the UK?
English

@enzocaststream Sorry about that! Try disconnecting the dock from wall power for 30-45 seconds before plugging it back in, then swap out the Thunderbolt cable if you have a spare. Beyond that, send us an email regarding this behavior if you haven't yet! Support@CalDigit.com

@CalDigitSupport the TS4's rear audio input port isn't working, the output is working fine.
I'm using a gaming headset with a green/pink input and output, both jacks are TRS - when I use a combination jack in the front combo port, the same headset works fine.

@CalDigitSupport y’all still active here? Bc my ts4 was a dream until it just died 5m ago. I set it up today too.
English

@MichaelUttley10 Sorry to hear about your less than exceptional experience. DM me your contact info and I'll check in on your case.

@CalDigitSupport
How does everyone get on with this support system on caldigit? I’m finding some serious shortcomings. No response and when they do we don’t move forward
English

@zephyrkhambatta If none of this does the trick, start a case with us through an official channel for further diagnosis and troubleshooting. You can best get in touch via email at Support@CalDigit.com
English

@zephyrkhambatta Without more context here, my guess is that the power bank is the most likely issue.

The TS4's macOS Firmware Update is now available! Check out the knowledge base article and download the update here:

@KatiLouRobot Sorry for the belated response! We sell replacements on our website: us.caldigit.com/collections/ac…
English

@CalDigitSupport when I moved, I lost all the cables that go with my TS4 dock - how can I get a replacement power cable?
English

@ziademarcus Hi Marcus,
Thank you for contacting CalDigit Support. Please send us a DM or an email with your dock's serial number (located near the rear ports, likely starting with the letter "A" or "B") and a photo of your PSU with the label facing up.
Our email is support@caldigit.com

@its_jackt As a result, we are not currently able to give you a definitive yes, but we invite you to give it a try and let us know how it goes if you give it a try with a Thunderbolt 5 dock or hub down the road. We hope to get our hands on some of the new Macs for testing as well.
English

@its_jackt In theory, there's ample bandwidth for your monitor setup, but if you take a look at the "Display Support" section on Apple's technical specifications page, you will notice that it is not officially supported. apple.com/macbook-pro/sp…

@CalDigitSupport Is there any combination of Macbook model and/or Caldigit product that is able to support dual 4k 240hz HDR displays? For reference, I have 2 FO32U2s. My M2 Pro is only able to handle driving both of them at 4K 120hz SDR. Thanks
