大皿いっぱいの豚肉の角煮に、唐辛子のソースを大量にぶっかけ、野っぱらで一人むさぼり食っている。
風貌からして多分彼にも妻や子がいるかもしれない。しかしそれらは放ったらかしにして、好きなだけ好きなように唐辛子に火の息を吐きつつ豚肉を食っている。
当然辛いだろう。しかし彼は陶然として唐辛子の刺激に酔いつつ、ひたすらに肉にかぶりつく。酒も必要ないらしい。
蛮勇である。何万年もの間、男たちが思い描いてきた素朴な夢の一つを彼は今実現している。唐辛子の前は胡椒や岩塩であったろう。
なぜ我々は大皿いっぱいの豚肉を、幼児のように独り占めして貪り食っていないのだろう。やろうと思えば今日にもできる。小賢しい理屈をつけてやらないのだ。

as a guy who's been to medieval larp event since over 5 years, i feel comfortable to say that black people in these events are allways unironicaly the most chill and non problematic dudes arround, they're super rarely drunk, never get pushy or annoying with women and bring an amazing vibe to the place they're in, i remember sining "wiskey in the jar" and "the foggy dew" with one dude who looked like bob marley in a tavern once and it was peak.
