Travel recap. My “travel touch of death” has returned. Used to be like this every day of every week. $shx better fly, you petty little btch 1. Flight to DFW. 113 in the rental garage. Otherwise, suspiciously problem free 2. 7 hours of storms, got wet, then hot, then wet, then hot 3. Change in United club bathroom smelling like moist hamster 4. DFW storm delays 4b. IAH storm shutdown for crosswinds 5. Get on plane, 90 min runway delay 6. Back to gate, get one more free drink 7. Unannounced gate change. Gate attendant yelled at me for turning to go the right one. I pointed and said “yeah I’m going right there”, to which the reply was “… oh” 8. Runway delay 9. Can’t change my connection 10. Changed it, got off the plane and right onto the next 11. Mechanical delay 12. THE ONLY CAR WAS A MINI VAN 13. Couldn’t figure out how to turn off the trunk lights for 30 min 14. Hotel at 1140, “computer database update” 15. Small talked a very nice but confused manlady 16. Suggested how to get a key as an alternative 17. Bed at 1245 18. IM SEMI DELERIOUS 19. One more flight home today
