No matter how good the players Flick gets are, Barca is NOT going to win the champions league because Flick is a one-trick pony. He's highline or nothing and pretty stubborn about it. His system is most effective when his players are agile and ready to press all the time. This is simply unsustainable. Players can't run non-stop for 90 minutes, they aren't robots. Teams know Barca's weakness and are willing and ready to exploit it whenever they have the chance, no matter what direction the game is going. That's why you notice Barca concedes the same kind of goal almost every game. You just have to look at Inter last year and Dogletico this year to understand. Great managers like Mourinho, Ancelloti and Enrique are adaptaptable. Even the great Pep had to learn to be adaptable. Adaptability makes you less predictable.
