The Windsor #Spitfires and Kitchener #Rangers will open their #OHL Western Conference Championship Series with Game 1 on Fri., Apr. 24 at 7pm. Game 2 will be Sun., Apr. 6 at 6pm. Both are in Kitchener at the Memorial Auditorium. Games 3 and 4 are in Windsor on Mon/Wed.

@JhanHky I’m very curious about the new-ish 1-2-2 that most teams employ now. I see almost every team use it. F1 angles up boards/defends against cross ice pass and F2 and F3 seal boards while the D look like their job is to take away the middle. I’d like to see a breakdown video for it.

@DRWUTDSOL tampa used it during their cup runs and it worked alright for them, but it depends on personnel also. one structural problem is that it gives up the red line easily, which has deterred teams from using it vs a FLA style forecheck
