This type of rhetoric is based in socialistic principles that have never worked. If you want to help the poor & allow people to lift themselves up then support education/charity.

I shared this note with the Washington Post team this morning: I’m writing to let you know about a change coming to our opinion pages. We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets. We’ll cover other topics too of course, but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others. There was a time when a newspaper, especially one that was a local monopoly, might have seen it as a service to bring to the reader’s doorstep every morning a broad-based opinion section that sought to cover all views. Today, the internet does that job. I am of America and for America, and proud to be so. Our country did not get here by being typical. And a big part of America’s success has been freedom in the economic realm and everywhere else. Freedom is ethical — it minimizes coercion — and practical — it drives creativity, invention, and prosperity. I offered David Shipley, whom I greatly admire, the opportunity to lead this new chapter. I suggested to him that if the answer wasn’t “hell yes,” then it had to be “no.” After careful consideration, David decided to step away. This is a significant shift, it won’t be easy, and it will require 100% commitment — I respect his decision. We’ll be searching for a new Opinion Editor to own this new direction. I’m confident that free markets and personal liberties are right for America. I also believe these viewpoints are underserved in the current market of ideas and news opinion. I’m excited for us together to fill that void. Jeff

I would like to reiterate Ukraine’s commitment to peace. None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts. We are ready to work fast to end the war, and the first stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky — ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure — and truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same. Then we want to move very fast through all next stages and to work with the US to agree a strong final deal. We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this. Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive. Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it in any time and in any convenient format. We see this agreement as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees, and I truly hope it will work effectively.

@padolsey @8teAPi Clean room space is massively expensive. Also you have to consider thermal control etc. there is a literal bajillion things to consider and control in the machine to make the thing work, let alone work consistently. Keeping it tight helps a lot. Size us the enemy of precision.

@8teAPi Legacy tech bloat. It's going to be hard to convince management to move away from the current process that works on something that might be better. Another company is going to have to come along and eat their lunch. But it's going to take massive capital investments.

@TexanStoic @MaxRovensky @IrishPatri0t Researching Into it, farmers have actually had better results, slightly warmer ground helps some crops grow better and the agitated air means better oxygen / CO2 availablity. Quite interesting.

@DUIofPhysics @MaxRovensky @IrishPatri0t If I remember correctly, the increase in ground temperature was causing plant life to die off. The vibrations also make livestock extremely uneasy. And there’s no telling what issues it causes with the native wildlife.
