it’s his vocal style, it does absolutely nothing for me despite some good songwriting moments on the album

Hate to be cynical, but this slate of movies isn't super exciting to me. Too many sequels. Too much treading familiar ground. Half of these are IP resurrection. I want something bold and new, and I'm not seeing it here.
