Why do people cheat when they are drunk? Or become mean? I just start laughing, watching romcoms or sports recaps. Maybe do a search for antiques on the internet. Think about best sex positions for watching baseball. Giggle. Ya know the stuff that avoids making it problematic

@AuthorGFAllen The motivation of my characters. I'll stop mid write and change motivations, especially at the beginning, so probably the beginning until the character motivations are locked in. After that it's pretty much point A to point B (or slot A to slot B since I write smut)

Spoke to a nurse recently who informed me that most nurses she works with (in a hospital) binge on "smut novels" on their phones in between calls to de-stress. I find this interesting.
