Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (two hours in): Starts a bit slow but the art, sound, writing, and acting are outstanding. Open world hasn't started yet. Huge improvement from the prequel, especially the pacing. Very pleased so far.

Glad to see this thread has been made. I always assumed there would be some gay options as the first title had them and I don’t have an issue as long as it fits in a way that feels authentic to the world, story and not crammed in just for the sake of being there, but hearing it was unskippable was initially very worrying. Not just for the potential gay scene, but also because it would’ve been such a departure from the first game. Like I said, so many games get banned in Saudi Arabia that it wouldn’t even be shocking. My 2023 GOTY FF16 was banned there months before release. Happy he clarified and quelled a lot of the worry.

A day after reassuring gamers to trust them, Kingdom Come Deliverance @KingdomComeRPG and @WarhorseStudios have updated their Steam Code of Conduct. There is an entire 9 point section on forbidden "isms" including Body Shaming. The Community Manager is, again, an activist. Is this a case of a CM team sabotaging another great game? While hate does not belong on any game forum, the type of language used is loaded with woke terms, and has often been over-construed by overzealous Community Managers to ban legitimate discussion and "non politics" have nearly always been enforced only one direction. Note that the CM works for PLAION. Who is handling marketing and social media for Warhorse. They, along with Warhorse, are all part of the Embracer group. The Embracer involvement is a WHOLE another story. Very complex. I still believe in Warhorse and Kingdom Come. Until proven otherwise, I believe this is just a case of the left and right hands not talking to each other, and that KCD's community team is not directly run by Warhorse at all.
