Holy moly, I finally vibe coded a website I’ve always dreamt of building 🥹 Nah, it’s not a Blender model. Not even for 3D podium. It’s pure geometry built using @threejs with color maps (albedo), spring-based physics, a hybrid DOM, real-time planar reflections, and more. Completely vibe coded all using Gemini 3 Pro in @GoogleAIStudio!! Live: basketball-beryl-nine.vercel.app

The interesting part is that React isn’t re-rendering everything — it’s attaching event listeners and reusing the existing DOM. SSR gives you fast initial HTML, but hydration is what actually brings the UI to life in the browser.

Ran into the concept of hydration in React while exploring SSR and modern frameworks. At a high level, hydration is what happens when the HTML generated on the server gets “wired up” with React on the client so it becomes interactive.

Was getting PostgreSQL credential errors even after updating my .env file. Turns out the problem wasn’t the password — it was Docker volumes persisting the old DB state. Clearing the volumes and restarting the containers fixed it. Learning: containers restart, volumes remember.

Ankush Dharkar wants you on tier3.college
💰Salaries will go up for those who know what they are doing. The junior pipeline was broken due to the AI stuff, there will be a bloodbath to hire really talented mid-level and senior-level developers in the coming years. This is because one day the existing current senior developers will 'graduate' and move up the ladder, and their vacuum has to be filled with the next gen, and companies will need people, especially to stay ahead of cut-throat competition. Exciting times ahead. Learn your fundamentals. Build amazing systems. Build harder things. Then you'll make a lot of money. Otherwise, you are going to get wiped off and left fighting in the barallel for scraps
Akash Singh | Hiring top tier SDEs@akkiex007

@arsh_goyal Everyone would be fighting for the same top talent pool which would be difficult to retain without a really competitive 💰💰 Top 1%, for rest fear-mongering and low-bowling would be common as it always has been.

I thought building a Pomodoro app would be just a timer Turns out it taught me more about backend design, analytics, and system thinking than half my tutorials #buildinpublic

@Deepmoitra1 This is why "build to learn" beats tutorials every time. A Pomodoro timer sounds trivial until you realize you need: • State management • Persistence • User preferences • Analytics • Edge cases The "simple" projects teach the most.

🧙‍♂️ Ah yes, the "simple timer" that reveals itself as a labyrinth of system design! Every apprentice who builds something "small" discovers the hidden depths beneath. Tutorials teach spells. Building teaches magic. [[📜 Common Tongue: Building > tutorials. A "simple" project always teaches 10x more than expected. That's the real growth.]]

My Pomodoro backend now tracks: started sessions completed sessions abandoned sessions Productivity isn’t about perfection. It’s about patterns.
