Be part of the solution not the problem. Have an opinion and let others know it. Don't worry about being popular, life is temporary.

I daydream a lot, especially about how computer logic is created. When I daydream I doodle. My random doodles get shuffled and sorted together to create an entity relationship diagram. From this a program can be designed. Next is a lot of research. Which language will run the process most accurately and efficiently? It's endless questions and refinements over days and weeks. A well meaning person, with no formal programming training, told me how out of touch I am with technology and that if I didn't embrace #ai and #vibecoding I would be left out in the cold. I smiled and walked out. "Where are you going?" He shouted. "To daydream" I replied. I will attend Google I/O and I will attend MSBuild. Then I think I will truly retire, to spend my time doodling, waiting for the lights to go off due to people who don't know how to daydream and design.

Me too ✋ I spent summers on a farm in my youth. We did everything: ran, rolled, walked through all manner of muck. Played and slept in grass, hay and straw. The golden rule was: wash off all visible muck before entering the farmhouse outside then upstairs for hot baths before dinner. I never once worried about fleas, poo or ticks. I was bitten and stung by something nearly every few days and TCP was the antidote to everything. I'm amazed me and everyone else I was with are still alive. Current psyops have no affect on on me and future foolishness will just be amusing.

I grew up on a farm and I spent a lot of time in old barns unintentionally inhaling and playing in more mouse feces than you could imagine. Nobody and I mean nobody I knew ever contracted Hantavirus. This is just another psyops to get more people jabbed. Don't take it.

@PeterSweden7 Too be truly honest, here in the UK, we are so super saturated by negativity 24/7 by the mainstream media, it's become comical. Every time there's 'Breaking News!' being shouted, I imagine it's just another rerun of a @montypython sketch.

Is it just me or is there something weird and unnatural with the amount of media coverage of Hantavirus?

And it begins. The BBC is now reporting that scientists have begun working on a vaccine for hantavirus. Would you take it?

Many times. I mastered the technique of saying "excuse me" and just standing up and walking out. When I received a phone call later asking me to explain I would just say "Actions speak louder than words." You never need to justify yourself to anyone if the situation you are in doesn't feel right.

@vishaltweetup Who says it's popular? Who creates the polls? Who curates the polls? Who publishes the polls? Netflix! Next, Amazon will publish how it's so popular, tit-for-tat marketing schemes designed to keep everyone engaged. Wait for Disney to wade in later on 😉

From an internal IBM training in 1979. Many people haven't realized it, but in 2026, we are reaching similar conclusions, with a few important additions: Computers must NOT be offered or marketed as tools to make decisions that replace human accountability when human duties and accountability are legally established. With that, I mean that therapy, legal, and medical advice, and other regulated activities should not be performed by computers or AI systems. Also, with the spread of AI and "AI-powered" roles, we might have to rethink when and how human accountability is legally mandated and assessed. For example: - If a criminal judge bases their decision on a visibly biased AI risk scoring system that leads to an unfair imprisonment, should this judge be held accountable? - If a professional driver activates a car's "fully automated" driving mode in a situation of heavy weather and unstable terrain, should the driver be held accountable if someone gets hit? - If a doctor relies on robotic surgery in cases where human precision and success rate are much higher, and the patient dies, should the doctor be held accountable? Al is a tool, and choosing to use AI to perform a task might lead to a different set of responsibilities (and legal liability). So much to take from an old IBM manuscript... - 👉 To learn more about AI's legal and ethical challenges, join my newsletter's 94,800+ subscribers (link below)

2FA means Two Factor Authentication. The safest way to login to anything currently is: To use email aliases with all accounts, each one separate and different. Create unique, memorable passwords with your imagination and only write them down, never store them online or in an app on a device, paper and pen are best. Never trust any browser with your password. Never photograph your paper with passwords on it and never share it with anyone. For apps and websites that insist on 2FA use a PAYG phone but never register or use the number for text messages. Install different 2FA apps on the device and just use them for authentication. Allow backup codes to be generated for everything but take the time to write them down. Do not print them, modern printers have memory and automatically cloud sync for "Product Improvements." It's all cumbersome I know but currently, everyone who is constantly connected, installing all the latest apps, through fear of missing out (FOMO) and just accepting default settings everywhere for convenience, is vulnerable. Finally, never use biometrics unless you absolutely have to. Kind regards Phil Branigan Retired award winning Digital Champion
