Code Vein 2 is a great example of devs knowing what fans want but corporate meddling fucking them over.
A good example is the removal of as much visual fanservice as they could but chapter two still opens with a half naked loli straddling your character and sucking on your neck.
Let's also not forget the multiple naked bathtime cuddles with your chocolate queen.
They also really did good on the bosses and dungeon designs despite them making the game more open world.
I really wish more people would just give it a try cause the devs really knew what they were doing.
