Sunday was tough day at work,We faced a tragic accident involving five young adults, aged 22-24, all IT engineers from Odisha working in Bangalore. A calm Sunday night turned into a race against time to save these young lives,They all suffered traumatic brain injuries and severe facial fractures with ENT bleeding. The hardest part was deciding who to prioritize for treatment and informing the neurosurgeon for urgent intervention. Unfortunately, two collapsed despite our efforts, and three are now in the ICU, one critically ill and one underwent surgery. The only survivor with minor injuries was the one wearing a seatbelt. Today, their parents travelled from across the country, from smaller cities, to find their children's lifeless bodies. This is a reminder to drive safely, wear seat belts, and never drink and drive. They're not just numbers!! #criticalcare #bangalore #nammabengaluru #wearseatbelts @DriveSmart_IN @TeamBHPforum @BangaloreMirror @Xroaders_001 @RSGuy_India

@volklub My trusty #Hyundai i20 (2012) nd Grand i10 (2014) have been my daily companions for years. Now I've noticed a steady decline in performance nd fuel efficiency despite regular care nd tracking. It may finally be time to let them go.Its sad i love both these cars. #e20

My all 3 cars have developed EPC one by one in the last 12 months. I have proofs for that. Particularly for Polo, it remained trouble free since 2013. We can’t simply brush everything under fuel adulteration. This surely is because of the unchecked quantity of ethanol for e10 compliant cars. Media is too scared to question anything.

Today @SkodaIndia Slavia developed jerky acceleration & EPC warning. Service station told injectors were faulty, they are not available in Delhi NCR, will take another 3 days to arrange. This is what happens when you buy a world class car in the capital city of India.

IF NOT US, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN ! I will be joining the CJP members in Delhi on 6th June if nothing changes by 5th June. Any self respecting Minister should resign if things go so wrong... Not to mention the effect on millions of young lives and in fact the future of India. #CockroachJantaParty #CJP #SonamWangchuk Please share; No copyright

GBA need not have got into this conversation. Making walkable footpaths is not its mandate. That can be left to the corporations. Now has BBMP distinguished itself in this in the past. What GBA needs to do is develop a proper Master Plan. The constant intervention in the work of the corporations only reminds people that GBA is neglecting its own work as a planning body.

A revealing chat with my fellow “anti-national Soros agents.” Vedant and his friends are brilliant, brave young Indians who asked CBSE and the Modi government simple questions - but got insults instead of answers. They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it.

Massive hike in #petrol prices is a prime example of the failure of Congress-led UPA. This will put a burden of hundreds of crores on Guj.

@Nimmabhaskar22 Even as someone associated with Congress, I admit this - Bangalore is being destroyed by decades of poor planning, corruption, delays nd political blame games. No party has truly done justice to the citizens of this city. Bengaluru deserves far better. #urbanslum #bengaluru

Many parts Bengaluru City Roads have be come HORRIBLE, Roads dug up, no footpath, garbage piled up, and thousands of abandoned and unfit for use Cars and Two wheelers occupying valuable carriage way. Five commissioners and one Maha commissioner with administrative behemoth, do we need any foreign technology for this. Citizens are at wits end. Our City is wonderful but in very incompetent hands. Where is Brand Bengaluru? @GBA_office @CMofKarnataka @DKShivakumar All Five Commissioners of GBA

Bengaluru to commence what is likely to be its most disruptive but much-needed road infrastructure projects. The entire Outer Ring Road tech corridor stretch from Silk Board to KR Puram (India’s largest office cluster with 450+ companies and 8 lakh+ daily commuters) is set for large-scale concreting, junction redesign, drainage work, service roads, footpaths, utility ducts and corridor upgrades. Complete traffic chaos across ORR is practically guaranteed for months. But honestly, doing this now and syncing it with the final phase of Metro construction is smarter than tearing up the corridor again after Metro operations fully stabilise. The real challenge is execution. Bengaluru’s institutional capacity to coordinate mega infra projects remains painfully weak. One badly planned diversion or utility cut and the entire corridor can lock up for hours.

🚨Heartbreaking Viral Video: Helpless Son Cries for His Injured Mother But Siddharthnagar DM Keeps Scrolling Reels A shocking video from the District Magistrate’s office in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh is spreading rapidly on social media. A distressed citizen went to the DM office pleading for help. His elderly mother was brutally attacked by monkeys in their village, suffering severe head injuries that needed multiple stitches. He had already filed written complaints with the District Forest Officer (DFO), but no action was taken. Instead of listening with empathy, the DM was seen continuously scrolling on his phone, completely ignoring the man’s painful appeal — no eye contact, no response, no assurance. This video has triggered massive public anger, with people calling it a clear example of administrative apathy. Where should common citizens go when those in power don’t even listen?

My brother from Germany reached out to me for medical help, and I need your support. A 6-year-old girl in Hamburg is battling Williams Beuren Syndrome. She requires heart surgery every three months. Since the condition is extremely rare (around 1 in millions), doctors in Germany have very limited experience treating it. Indian specialists reportedly have far greater expertise with this condition. Please recommend good hospitals and doctors in India for this. Any contacts, leads, or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. 🙏

New recommendation: Semaglutide (Wegovy) can now be prescribed to help protect the heart, not just to manage weight: nice.org.uk/guidance/ta115… It's for adults who've already had a heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular event and have a BMI of 27 or above.

In all humility and with complete respect for judiciary, I have written the following letter to Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, informing her that pursuing Gandhian principles of Satyagraha, it won’t be possible for me to pursue this case in her court, either in person or through a counsel. I have taken this difficult decision after coming to the clear conclusion that the proceedings being conducted in her court do not, in any manner, satisfy the fundamental principle that ‘justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done’. My participation in these proceedings, either myself or through a counsel will not achieve anything meaningful.

Her name is Sabeena. She is a nurse from Tamil Nadu. On July 30 2024 she arrived at the Wayanad landslide site in Kerala. Over 400 people had died. Entire villages had been swallowed. Bridges were destroyed. The Chaliyar river was raging between survivors on one side and help on the other. The NDRF had built a zipline across the river. On the other side were people who needed immediate medical attention. People with snake bites. People with wounds. People with fever and shock. The male rescue personnel hesitated to cross. Sabeena did not hesitate. She put on a raincoat. She held her first aid kit tightly against her body. She grabbed the zipline in continuous heavy rain and crossed the raging river alone. She reached the other side and started treating patients. Snake bites. Trauma injuries. Fever. Cold. She treated 35 people that day. The official citation given to her later read this. As the rescue team was hesitant the courageous and committed Ms Sabeena came forward to go to the other side of the river. In spite of continuous rain by wearing a raincoat and tightly holding the first aid kit she travelled without any fear. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin personally invited her to the state secretariat and gave her the Kalpana Chawla Award for Courage and Daring Enterprise. She had no mandate to cross that river. No order. No special training. She just could not watch people suffer on the other side while others waited. 35 people came home because one woman decided not to hesitate. Her name is Sabeena.
