@HieronymusMcG @ProjectLincoln @joshtpm @NoLabelsOrg I think a lot of things helped elect Trump beyond the concept of “spoiling”. The Democratic Party choosing Hillary Clinton as a candidate certainly contributed IMO, and I say that as an anti-Trumper who believes the GOP is awful.

@ProjectLincoln @joshtpm @NoLabelsOrg Even many people who refuse to admit that wasting their votes on third-party spoilers in 2016 helped elect Trump chose not to repeat the mistake four years later. Not just Jill Stein and the Greens. Libertarian vote dropped from 3.28% in 2016 to 1.18% in 2020.
