Interesting to see where Blazers fans stand on this. Players and coaches of course want to make the playoffs. But future wise, getting a pick in this lottery could have been very helpful. They’re going to be in a good position either way with Dame coming back + assets/flexibility

Trail Blazers fans seem pretty divided on this, so I’m curious where everyone stands. There are only two outcomes for Portland this season: 1) Make the playoffs (lose their 1st round pick) 2) Miss the playoffs (keep the lottery pick) Which would you rather see happen?

I have never seen a grifter like Avdija. People talk about Shai the way Avdija actually is. It is INSANE how that man draws fouls with zero intent on a shot attempt.

Deni Avdija gets a prime MJ Whistle and has done nothing to earn it and yet somehow SGA is public enemy number 1 for being a foul merchant. Braun was literally afraid of fouling this man at the end of regulation and basically gave him an open layup because you can't breathe on dude.

Last thing I’ll say about possibly moving on from Deni this offseason - it would ONLY be in a trade for Giannis. Not just another star - a bonafide superstar.
We are blessed to have Deni on this contract, but if you can get Giannis, you do it. Those two would not fit together.

@Brady12Clark I don’t think you do. We’ve already seen three years ago that Dame and Giannis couldn’t move the needle in the weak Eastern conference. Both guys are older, and injured. The idea that you’re going to move the needle against the Spurs and thunder is absolutely nuts.

Khaman Maluach’s fluidity from 3PT range is what separated him from other big, rim-running prospects in the past, in my opinion His shooting form is quick, compact, and repeatable Pair that with his good FT% and you can easily see him developing into a reliable floor spacer
