Austerity यानि मितव्ययिता ये एक सांकेतिक जीवनशैली होती है, जिसको समूह का बड़ा नेता खुद फॉलो करता है, ताकि फिर समूह भी उसको देखकर वही जीवनशैली अपना ले। कल देश के नेता ने मितव्ययिता का आह्वान किया, लेकिन उसके बाद खुद भव्य रोड़ शो और एयर शो का तमाशा करते नजर आए। तो चंदौली के चंदन मिश्रा के दिमाग में सवाल उठना स्वाभाविक है कि वो फटे पजामे में पैदल चलकर देश के लिए 50 रूपये का तेल और 100 रूपये का कपड़ा बचा रहा है, लेकिन उसका नेता फालतूगिरी में करोड़ों का तेल फूंक रहा है और मखमल की टाइट पजामी पहनकर इतरा रहा है। चंदन ठगा सा महसूस करेगा।
