Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence. The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures. On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied, “This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.” This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it. A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons. Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

@yakultii_Igor @RenCeifer Por que não dar múltiplas formas de se adaptar? O primeiro também dá uma ferramenta para distrair, além de matar. Esse novo design é um passo para trás. Uma decisão tomada porque as pessoas estavam se divertindo jogando de uma maneira que os Devs não queriam. Bobo e prepotente.

Sinceramente estou me divertindo no Subnautica 2, mas ainda devo dizer que a proposta de você não ter armas no jogo é muito chato e pouco convidativa. Esse jogo parece uma propaganda anti armamentista, onde é melhor você morrer do que se defender de um predador! E o jogo te pune.

No primeiro jogo ja é super limitado o dano as criaturas, e nesse jogo resolveram remover totalmente

His brain has recognized that something in the world is hurting his partner, and his immediate, visceral instinct is to assassinate the thing causing you pain.
We constantly shame men for "not just listening," completely ignoring the fact that his attempt to fix your life is his most profound declaration of love.
