@studentdrdemon 2/2 was able to help calm me down was called Mickey and she patted my hand and told me how well I was doing. She may have been a doctor I don't know but ive always remembered her compassion ❤️ I feel sorry for people who say compassion doesn't help 😕

@studentdrdemon In 2020 I had my son. I lost like half my blood volume. After holding him for 5 seconds they decided I needed surgery. No big deal I'm used to surgery - but I have never had emergency surgery. When I got wheeled into that theatre it was chaos. But the only nurse that was able 1/2

I received feedback that holding the patient’s hand as they are put under is not in my job description as a medical student intending to apply to surgery and I gotta say, the idea of that being a negative thing about me really sums up a lot of what’s wrong here
