@twainlo @ManicPixieDdawg That’s why there’s a whole mental health awareness thing they preach about but they don’t actually practice and see what it even does to people. Only applies to certain people I guess.

Kanye West has offered to meet members of the Jewish community in the U.K. following the furore over his headline booking at this year’s Wireless Festival. He said his “only goal is to come to London and present a show of change, bringing unity, peace, and love through my music,” and offered to meet community members in person “to listen,” adding: “I know words aren’t enough – I’ll have to show change through my actions. If you’re open, I’m here.” variety.com/2026/music/new…

I still think overall, Knueppel has had the way better season. Flagg will likely be a better player long-term, but I’d have a hard time voting him for ROY over Knueppel’s historic year which includes reviving the hapless Hornets.
HoopsHype@hoopshype

Cooper Flagg on his 96-point weekend: "I think it's definitely some sort of a statement. I'm confident in myself and I know what I'm capable of and I'll just let the rest of the stuff figure itself out." Rookie of the Year or not?

@blinkskwid @theneedledrop They literally took everything they can from him. He has apologized and told us about his mental health issues and held himself accountable and asking us for a chance to show he’s growing and moving on.

@EntreeLifeStyle @theneedledrop I think there is a difference between helping someone with their issues and letting all of their bad actions slide because they had issues. Part of recovery from the outside is holding the person accountable for their actions AND making them feel like they can grow and move on.

you mention these things like they were all ripped from him in a random act of god or something. he actively burned each of these bridges over the course of years while thousands of his fans begged him to stop.

The Kanye stuff is an interesting peek into the notion of accountability the post-2017 world. He lost a billion dollars, adidas deal, his wife, and a shit ton of business relationships. I think when people say they want “accountability” they actually mean “total ruin.”

Wireless sponsors pulling out is wild, but let’s not ignore the double standard from the UK government — mental health isn’t something you can selectively care about when it’s convenient. They’re quick to moralize publicly while moving differently behind the scenes. Ye’s situation was never a joke… his mental health has been serious, visible, and he’s openly taken steps to learn and apologize. Two things can be true at once.

I don’t understand this Kanye West nonsense, if you don’t like it, don’t buy a ticket, if you do, buy a ticket. YOU decide whether it’s worth your time or not, of all things and people we allow into our country, Kanye West is the last thing we should be concerned about. Someone very clearly wants to make that decision for you.

Victor Wembanyama played 16 minutes tonight before leaving with a rib contusion. This game will count toward his total. He’s now at 64 games, and needs to play 20 minutes in one of the final three games after today to be eligible for end-of-season awards. #PorVida
Matt Guzman@mattgzman

Entering the #Spurs' final home stand of the regular season, find below the updated count for key end-of-season awards: - Victor Wembanyama (63 games played) can miss two more games to remain eligible. He also has one 15-minute exception remaining. - Stephon Castle (66 games played) is officially eligible for end-of-season awards. - De'Aaron Fox (69 games played) is officially eligible for end-of-season awards. Remember, 6MotY and Rookie Awards do not use this rule. Dylan Harper and Keldon Johnson will both be eligible in those categories. And yes, the NBA Cup Final does count as one game played. #PorVida

Kanye West’s rapid comeback after years of hate speech and controversy shows how quickly people are willing to forget. It speaks to a larger truth about America, where fame, money and noise can enable a person to be excused for virtually anything. His return is not just about music, but about a culture that chooses to overlook even the most extreme behavior. variety.com/2026/music/opi…
