For many families in the #MiddleEast, the escalating conflict adds to an ongoing cycle of hardship, including: 🔴 Mass displacement 🔴 Economic strain 🔴 Aid delays These challenges plunge vulnerable families further into hunger and threaten the food security of millions.
#Somalia Acute malnutrition levels have risen for two consecutive years and are expected to continue to rise through 2026, with 1.84 million cases of children under five who are at risk of acute malnutrition. As the security situation worsens in #Donetsk, #Dnipro, & #Kharkiv regions, thousands are forced to flee. In January, @WFP supported 9,300 evacuees at transit centers across eastern #Ukraine with ready-to-eat food kits - providing vital nourishment during their journey to safety.
