One of the mistakes Protestants often make regarding venerating Mary and the saints is the belief that elevating them somehow lessens the glory, devotion, or reverence given to Christ. However, God is not in competition with His creatures. Love is not a limited resource. Loving one person more does not mean loving another person less. Surely loving my mother more does not mean I love my father less. And when Christ loves me, that does not mean He loves you less. God is endless love. And scripturally speaking, we are designed to share in His glory. This does not exclude the saints in Heaven.

Let me clarify because many are misunderstanding: I’m tired of games being judged purely on a character’s race/gender/sexuality, a dev’s assumed politics, or labels like ‘woke’/‘anti-woke.’ Politics belong in game narratives if done well — art should challenge our worldviews and broaden perspectives. But IRL culture wars have no place in discussions/reviews. We should focus on what matters: gameplay, writing, graphics, fun — not writing off games because they clash with your personal beliefs. Gaming is escapism for me. This account is about celebrating games and ignoring real-life BS — I’ve got enough of that offline.
