This one may be over with the way the Braves are playing.

Ha-Seong Kim has played in just 6 of the #Braves' last 16 games and gone 1-for-17 in those limited looks.
With Ronald Acuña out and Michael Harris dealing with a back issue, Mauricio Dubón is needed in the OF, but there's little reason not to give Jorge Mateo the AB's at SS.

Strider - he might actually be done as a starter.

@mlbbowman It wasn't that long ago that the Braves had an 11 game lead in the division.
If they don't rally tonight, that lead is down to 6 1/2.
The Braves need 2 starters:
One to replace Holmes
One to replace Strider

Our hitters are so scared to challenge early in games. That was an obvious ball. Changed the entire inning. That’s what the ABS is there for.

Here is the Strider update. There’s a chance he could begin throwing exercises again during the second half of July. If all goes well, a latter August or early September return seems possible

Following a consultation with Dr. Keith Meister today, RHP Spencer Strider will be shut down from throwing for four weeks and then undergo a follow-up MRI. Provided that scan is clear, he will then begin a throwing progression.
