@yrysbryd Yes a system is more authoritarian the more the implementation of people's power is monopolized

@yrysbryd I use power simply as the ability to enact one's will. It's neutral. The power to extract obedience from others is the problem

@FreedomFlaming0 And that’s certainly a definition for sure though really power is a lot more complicated than that regardless even under that definition authoritarian actions and praxis has its use particularly in community resistance movements where it is spread out among members of

This is correct in one direction: historically Anarchists have worked alongside or in conjunction with Marxist-Leninists, only to then have the results of their efforts co-opted by others, their roles erased from history, and them even being eradicated at some turns.

Anarchists are our allies. We both want the same end goal, a world where no human being exploits another. We naturally have more in common with them than liberals, it's just a question of how we get there. Historically, Marxism-Leninism was what was proved to work better, through

@yrysbryd The way I use authoritarianism is the monopolization of the social implementation of power within a structure.

@FreedomFlaming0 The principle difference comes in the democratization of authority the more I think about it . You have a united front built on that authority of each individual

ML projects haven't worked. Most repressed worker self organization instead placing the under the weight of state bureaucracy and state firms. History has shown we are not allies, as our methods are completely different and your projects betray the revolution and anarchists.

I see more critique towards anarchist for being "pro west" for simply rejecting all states and all forms of imperialism than I do for the ACP who has "Promotion of American Civilization" as point 17 of their party platform

@komiikatze Anarchists are against the monopolization of the social implementation of power within structures and the power to extract obedience from others. We are not allergic to power in any way. We are against Hierarchical power. Equality and expansion of structural power is a must
