Albertans better start "looking within themselves", because what comes next is going to destroy our province, unlike anything that has been put before us. On October 19th, please vote for change. This is our last chance.
@GaryMarcellus@johnwtomkinson AB overpaid in equalization by the tune of 200+ billions over 20+ years. It owes absolutely nothing on the giant Liberal induced debt, and none of that money actually benefited Alberta directly.
So in other words, they can shove that debt share and spin on it.
Why should Alberta stay in Canada?
Tell me why the systemic discrimination against Western Canada and Alberta is okay?
Why are you okay that the vote of a member of the Enoch Nation in Alberta is worth much less than that of a member of the Mi’kmaw Nation in the Annapolis Valley?
Why are you okay that the vote of an LGBT community member in Calgary is worth less than that of someone who lives in Charlottetown?

Albertans have been fighting for fair representation in the governance of Canada for decade and Ottawa has made it clear there will be no changes. The economic colonization will continue. Is this what you want for your children and grandchildren?
On October 19th, vote for independence.
@ulfreakSV@johnwtomkinson /3 from the Feds. Not included are all the subsidies and tax forgiveness from the Feds. All the costs will be paid by the people remaiging in AB. I feel so sorry, for your ignorance on the costs of separating.
And then I thought healthcare was responsible for many ppl's death... Isn't it what the socialists claim all the time to claim more funding, as if it would solve anything?
But hey if you really think it would, then realize that an independent Alberta not getting back pennies on the dollar from Ottawa but rather keeping all of its taxpayers money, would make it able to generate wealth enough to fund even better healthcare.
So if you think healthcare issues are related to lack of funding... support #AlbertaIndependence .
@ulfreakSV@johnwtomkinson /2 Then the costs of buying Fed. Land like military bases, Edm. & cal airports and all the buildings that the Feds own. What about the cost of setting up tax collections and other new gov’t agencies? Currently AB receives $14b in transfers/2
The whole world is rushing toward digital IDs to “protect the kids” online. Governments - cheered on by the loony left are here to help - show your government papers just to browse the internet - and remember, it’s all for the kids.
Yet these same voices scream bloody murder at any ID requirement to vote.
Parents raise kids - not the damn state. And voting is the sovereign act that legitimizes the entire government. If proving who you are is “too burdensome” for the ballot box, it’s outright tyranny for daily life.
Is this really about safety and democracy? Because it sure looks like something else. And as for controlling what the public can see and say while the mainstream media parrots government narratives and ignores the stories people actually need? Do they not realize that is exactly why alt media exploded: because legacy outlets stopped doing their job.
One rule for your freedom. None for the vote that decides everything.
Make it make sense. 🇨🇦 AB 🇦🇧

@EdenHar36652477 No AB hasn’t tried everything else. Ralph Klein said he would provide services to places that voted Conservatives. Time for AB to elect about 18 Liberals, 18 Conservatives and 1 NDP. That would bring changes.
@BertaProudDad Who should pay for the referendum, the people who wanted one, or the people who did not want one? I wonder which one of her cronies received the contract to print up 45 million ballots for Oct. 19th?
Under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to stop a government from asking its own citizens a question in a referendum.
That is democracy.
If the people cannot be asked, then who exactly is in charge?
Alberta is leading the way to give Albertans better access to the care they need. That’s why we’re taking action.
✅ Adding thousands of doctors and nurses, funding 50,000 more surgeries, planning new hospital towers in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary, and funding the largest-ever expansion of continuing care.
✅ Introducing patient-focused funding so hospital funding follows patients and the care they receive, helping increase access to surgeries and reduce wait times for procedures.
✅ Enabling dual practice, allowing surgeons to provide both publicly insured and private services, increasing surgical capacity and helping more Albertans get treated sooner.
✅ Expanding access to preventative testing, making it easier for Albertans to identify health concerns earlier, access timely answers, and take proactive steps to manage their health.
@SKivimaa Feds transfer $57.4 billion to the provinces for healthcare in ‘26-‘27. The Feds also set up the Healthcare Act.
Here is an opportunity for you since you are so concerned about Census questions. www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recense…
@SKivimaa In 2016, 36 people were charged with not filling out the forms. Most of them did not pay a fine as charges were withdrawn after they filled out their census forms.
In answer to your question, enumerators were never told the $ amount in tr
The government of Canada hired 32,000 additional workers to compel Canadians to complete the census.
They hired zero additional workers to locate and deport illegals, and zero additional workers to facilitate the deportation of foreign criminals.
@SKivimaa Your lack of info is spalling. Census gives the number of people in an area. Those numbers determine x the money transferred for healthcare x for the next five years. Provinces use that money to determine funding and planning infrastructure. /1
@SKivimaa By not saying anything about the duration, when you know, is posting misinformation. Your entire post shows your bias in the drivel you are posting.
@GaryMarcellus You mean census facilitator isn’t a lifetime job like a Senate position? 😏 Yes I knew that, I said nothing about the duration.
What is their job, if not compelling people to complete the census?
