As the halving approaches, I find myself feeling grateful for @OnChainMonkey. Early on, the Ordinals ecosystem was complicated and I was hesitant to participate. Then OCM gave white-glove service with the portal to upgrade my Monkey. That got me to set up an @xverse wallet and finally dive in. Since then, I’ve found myself playing around a lot in the Ordinals world. From buying @floraforms to testing BTC defi on @LiquidiumFi, I’m fully down the rabbit hole. I’m still not an expert, but thanks to OCM (and helpful community members like @Brushdawg), I’m learning more every day. !RISE

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬 🫤 A lot of OCM community members have been asking me the same question. “How is it possible for @OnChainMonkey to be left out of CyberKongz’ list of 20 innovative projects”🤔 The list was (apparently) curated based on the level of impact and innovation that the projects have had during the emergence of Ordinals in the past year or so. For context: - OCM has pioneered many of the standard features of Ordinals collections (more than any other I believe) 🧡 - They were the first project to inscribe its 10k collection on Bitcoin. - First 10k parent-child collection. - First 10k recursive collection. - First multi-parent 10k collection. - First 10k inscribed on block 9, 450x sats. - First 10k cursed collection. - First 10k to teleburn from Ethereum. - And the JavaScript libraries inscribed within the OCM Dimensions collection’s code, were utilised by some of the projects who made the list. So OCMs work was used as literal building blocks in what those projects created 🙌 Whichever way you slice it, I don’t think you will find a project that has innovated more than OCM on Bitcoin. Now, projects are of course free to drop to whoever they want, but if CyberKongz’ narrative is based around respecting and rewarding the OG builders on Bitcoin that came before them, I think our community are very much entitled to (respectfully) ask the question and be confused by this omission. 😐 Ultimately, our community supports builders on Bitcoin, and we welcome them and wish them and their holders nothing but success, but this just stings a bit, ngl. 🧡 I hope people can understand why our community are confused right now 🙏

There are collections that still airdrop value to their holders…@OnChainMonkey is one of them.
