Attention Angelenos: If you’re sick and tired of the homelessness crisis like I am, then it’s time to vote for Spencer Pratt. He’s the only one talking about actually clearing encampments. I don’t care how much money people (in certain industries) are making by supporting or donating to Karen Bass. That’s exactly the problem. (BTW all the donations are public record FYI) When profit comes before people, our city suffers. Just proves how corrupt she is. Do the right thing if you want to see Los Angeles thrive again. Your business might benefit from a corrupt politician staying in office, but your kids can’t safely walk to school under leadership that refuses to act. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman don’t care about clearing encampments near schools. That should tell you everything. Nithya just voted yesterday against it again. Pick your priorities. It’s really that simple. This is about right versus wrong. Your millions can wait. You already have enough. Stop putting greed ahead of the safety and future of this city. Everyone who’s paying attention should be supporting Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton. And if you have money to spend on politics, stop giving it to politicians who only serve themselves and start backing someone who will actually make change. It’s disappointing to see people I know support politicians like Eric Swalwell and Karen Bass. But at the end of the day, money spent in the wrong places is money wasted. You lost all your donations yesterday on the retard that is Eric Swalwell. That’s what you get. Sorry not sorry. There is no excuse for secretly voting for a Republican candidate and financially supporting a corrupt Democrat because it’s good for business. It’s gross.

This afternoon, my wife took our 6 yr old to his basketball practice at the Hollywood YMCA (a genuinely wonderful institution serving families from all walks of life). To get through the gate, they had to navigate past four people sitting on the sidewalk surrounded by hypodermic needles.

Good answer from @nithyavraman who highlights how Mayor Bass consistently made decisions to please influential voices for her own benefit. The result is that millions of Angelenos are worse off for it, and deal with barely working public services as rent continues to rise.

This is accurate. The LAPD contract Bass gave the police union (to get their endorsement) broke our budget.

Rogan dropped an interview with Spencer Pratt - LA guy told me to watch, probably knowing it would raise my blood pressure. Pratt is running for mayor, and the episode goes into detail about all the NGO fraud. Here they are talking about how of all the tens of millions in charity raised to help people whose houses burned down in the 2025 fire, basically none of it went to victims. NGOs got the $$ and wasted it. So it’s no shocker that so few homes in places like Pacific Palisades have been rebuilt. If you’re in LA you should take a look - and if you’re not, but want further insight into how the various NGOs rip off taxpayers for things like homelessness without ever solving the problem, it will interest you too.

Anyone who has lived in LA and seen the fall from grace will find this JRE interview with future Mayor Spencer Pratt infuriating. The negligent mismanagement crosses the line into criminal activity. This is across LA County - not just DTLA. Pratt may not 'speak pretty' but he has a handle on the issues and some great ideas re: how to address the rot and foster a civil society again. Personally, we have too many competent speakers who unabashedly lie or mislead (e.g. Newsom) to get elected or stay in power and line the pockets of cronies who deliver little and say a lot.
