Taylor Walls on his 9th inning ejection, and heated exchange with home plate umpire Nick Lentz. “I said that ball’s down, and then I heard the dugout kind of yapping at him a little bit, and I may have reiterated that ball's way down, but past that, I didn't say anything. I was ticked off. Probably the body language said more than my mouth did, but called time, kind of tried to recollect myself. I was still a little frustrated, especially in that situation, went to get back in the box, and I heard him mouthing something at me, which I thought was kind of out of the ordinary being I didn't really say much to him, if anything, I figured he'd be talking to the dugout. I just remember going to get into the box, kind of adjusting my helmet, and then hearing him mouthing something. I think I said, huh, like, what'd you say? I can't hear you. At that point, I have no recollection of it, but after seeing the video, it looks like I tapped my helmet, but it was totally unintentional, something I was not consciously aware of at all. I'm looking right at him when I'm doing it with no sincere, at that point, maybe I was frustrated with the strike call, but there was no sincerity of trying to show the guy up. I don't know how he didn't see that in the moment, but I'm looking right at him. We're so confused, trying to understand what he said and I think it was just a mannerism that happened because I was stepping into the box, kind of readjusting my helmet at the time, and that just happened. He comes out, and he's like, we're not doing that. You're out of here, and tosses me, so that at this point, I have no idea that I just what looked like to him, touched my tap my helmet, so I'm ticked off. I'm like, what are you talking about? I didn't say anything to you. I'm asking you what you said and had no recollection that I was even made a gesture that looked like that. Never in my life have shown an umpire like, been that disrespectful to do something like that. We didn't even have the ABS in spring training, so just to be so on edge thinking that somebody's just trying to be so disrespectful and show you up at that point, I think it was premature. I don't really remember any time that I've been thrown out of a game since I've played baseball. I kind of want to apologize to him for if that's what he thought that I did, but at the same time, like, after missing a call, you have to kind of understand the situation. You can't just toss me for something that you're not totally sure that I was doing it intentionally to disrespect.”

NEW: Ohio lawmakers have proposed a new law that bans men from ejaculating without intent of conception, would fine men up to $10,000 per ejaculation. The bill was brought forward by Democratic State reps Anita Somani and Tristan Rade. Men would be charged with a felony under the law if they engage in unprotected s*x without the intent of impregnation. Exceptions under the law include people ejaculating in the LGBTQ community, sperm donation, and masturbat*on. The lawmakers say the point of "The Conception Begins at Erection Act" is to "call out the hypocrisy" of "bills that regulate women’s bodies." Men would be charged $1,000 for the first offense, $5,000 for the second offense and $10,000 for any offense after.
