It starts at the lowest level and goes through about 4-6 court proceedings/appeals before it goes to the Supreme Court who will affirm or deny it is murder, or they remand it to the previous court for ruling

@ryanburge This is very misleading. In the 60s we had just finished 2 world wars, that were awful, we were surrounded by the nuclear armegeddon of the cold war, and "progressive" had a much different meaning. Most from the 60s were much tougher people who had seen tougher times than today.

Among Catholic priests who were ordained in the late 1960s: 68% describe their theology as progressive. 16% said it was conservative. Among priests ordained in the last few years: 2% describe their theology as progressive. 84% said it was conservative.
