🚙 🔋Since gulf of hormuz is choking the oil, booked another EV today - VINFAST VF7. This time betting on an emerging VIETNAMESE company instead of the Chinese BYD. There were 2 reasons to this; 1) Vinfast is being manufactured in India in Tamil Nadu, giving it that indigenous feel . 2) No other EV company elsewhere in India is giving an assured 70 % buyback after 3 years of usage. Final onroad price: INR 28 lakhs appx Offcourse leverage means more to me than those " Monopoly" reward points, got the loan approved at 8.5 % for 80% of on road. For me personally its a financial crime of highest order if i have to buy any vehicle by paying it all upfront with credit cards. #Vinfast #EVcar

I eat 15 eggs a day. 5 whole and 10 white. All local and tried some way back branded one. There is no difference. Orange Yolk depend in the hen Diet and nothing else. Everybody is trying to fool you. I once asked a Kirana wala why there is so much difference between local eggs and branded eggs. He told because of packing. I told him :Packing thodi hi Khaani hai" Fear marketing is real but you are just spending extra bucks because of fear. 15 eggs cost around Rs. 6.5/egg in my area. I get daily around 63 gram protein from it. It is around Rs. 1.5/per gram of protein Total calories for 63 gram Protein is around 520.

Rs 7 egg & Rs 22 egg are nutritionally almost identical. Most of what you're paying extra for is... marketing. Egg industry has turned a simple food into a quiz. Brown /white? Orange/yellow yolk? Omega-3? @anushkantala & I dug into what actually matters. Link in next tweet.

Yesterday I was reading about Ownly, a food delivery app, started by Rapido. - they claim to have no hidden charges. -low commission from restaurant owners - they already have a fleet. So I checked the prices of corn pizza on Swiggy, Zomato and Ownly. 1. Swiggy: There is a discount of 50 rupees on the original price. Yet I have to pay Rs. 180. 2. Ownly: The cost of the pizza is 119 and then there is 5.95 gst. I have to pay 124.95. 3. Zomato: There is packaging fee, delivery fee, platform fee, feeding india donation and then gst. Here I have to pay 191.37 Surely, the price difference will attract alot of customers but will this be sustainable? Will the differentiating factor collapse?

After multiple flight cancellations in UAE, we finally shifted to Muscat. Our friends and family arranged a taxi from Oman who came to Abu Dhabi and then drove us back to Muscat. Having a local driver made our transfer from UAE to Oman easier. Also our first land border passport controlled crossing.. And also it was all because all of us had US Visa..
