@Artemisfornow @DrHoenderkamp Euthanasia should only be an option for those with a terminal debilitating disease. Never on children or adults with mental health issues.

Oh humans, what are you doing?? This autistic young man between 16-18 years old was euthanised in Holland because he was joyless and terribly lonely. Poor, poor boy, instead of adults loving him and helping him, they chose to kill him instead.

@seena_shah @jfoster2019 So what happened the last 14 years when house prices soared, wages stagnated whilst the Conservatives imported cheap labour from all over the world. Education standards dropped beyond recognition blah blah blah.

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
To think that Royal Mail brought out a stamp to commemorate the wedding of these two scumbags in the summer of 1986. Apart from that, the eighties was a bloody good decade 👊

The @labour government just turned down £40-50million of revenue to the UK economy because one of the world's most popular music artists said some awful things about Jewish people which he has subsequently regretted, apologised for and offered to repair by meeting key Rabbis. Let that sink in... Terrifying times.

@Daily_Express If you were caught shop lifting when I was a kid it would be in the local paper, your parents would disown you, and you’d have to leave town, if not the country. How times have changed.

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
Who recalls watching the Australian drama 'The Sullivans' on British daytime TV 📺? It was a huge success in the UK, running from 1976 to the early eighties. I used to watch it, together with Crown Court, whenever I was off ill from school.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT IN PUBLIC IN CENTRAL LONDON! Was stood waiting to cross the road at corner Marble Arch and Oxford Street just now and turned to see bloke on very fast electric bike heading up behind me. I turned and he turned away. I stood and watched as it was obvious what was going to happen next and sure enough, he snatched the phone of a young woman stood at the bus stop. Then off down Oxford Street for more. Face fully covered. If we had a police force in London this could easily be stopped, but instead, dozens of people a day have their lives made shit by these vermin. I’m in a shop writing this. Put your phone away on the streets. Take care. Be safe.

🚨BRITAIN'S LAWLESS STREETS: FERAL YOUTH MOB VANDALISES POLICE CAR IN CLAPHAM! 🚓 Where Is The Crackdown On This Brazen Thuggery? Shocking video from Clapham Common shows a large mob of youths swarming a marked police car in broad daylight. One climbs onto the hood, jumps across the roof, and stomps the windscreen until it shatters. The rest cheer, film on their phones, and block the road with zero fear. No officers intervene. No arrests visible. Just pure disorder on a public street. This is more proof of lawless London under Sadiq Khan.

Here’s the thing, I understand why Waitrose felt they had to fire Walker Smith. This whole sorry tale illustrates perfectly what a state we’re in as a nation. Dominated by fear of litigation & higher insurance premiums, we have lost any sense of personal responsibility.

@britmatters Waitrose will make sure they don’t lose money from prolific shop lifting by making their customers pay more. Nothing will effect their profits or shareholders just the mugs who pay their extortionate prices for often poor quality food, they are a total rip off!

Waitrose Worker Sacked For Tackling Easter Egg Thief. - "They Treated Me Like a Criminal While The Thief Walked Free." It was a routine afternoon shift at Waitrose in Clapham Junction, south London. Walker Smith, 54, a hard working family man who had loyally served the supermarket for 17 years, was alerted by a member of the public to a shoplifting incident. "Someone’s stuffing a bag full of the Lindt Gold Bunny Easter eggs." Smith instantly recognised the culprit as a known prolific shoplifter. In a split-second act, he reached out and seized the bag. A short tug of war erupted. The bag tore apart. Premium £13 chocolate bunnies spilled across the floor, one shattering on impact. The thief snatched what he could and bolted for the exit, leaving the mess behind. Overwhelmed by years of watching brazen theft go unchallenged, Smith grabbed a piece of the broken egg and flung it in frustration toward some nearby trolleys, missing the fleeing criminal. For that brief, human moment of standing up for the store, Waitrose bosses showed him the door. "I have given 17 years of my life to Waitrose," he said. "It felt like home. But after years of watching thieves help themselves while we were told to do nothing, I just couldn't stand by any longer." Waitrose insists it has a strict no intervention policy because there is a serious danger to life in tackling shoplifters and we refuse to put anyone’s life at risk. The company added, nothing we sell is worth risking lives for. As a responsible employer, we never want to be in a position where we are notifying families of a tragedy because someone tried to stop a theft. This latest scandal comes amid a shocking surge in shoplifting across Britain. Retailers are losing billions, police often fail to turn up for minor thefts and hard working shoppers foot the bill through sky high prices and empty shelves. Instead of backing their loyal staff, giant chains like Waitrose appear more worried about insurance claims and corporate box ticking than standing up for law and order. Mr Smith had reportedly been warned in the past not to intervene. He apologised for the incident but was still dismissed two days later. This decision has triggered a wave of anger online, with thousands calling to boycott Waitrose and demanding Mr Smith's immediate reinstatement. Politicians and commentators have also weighed in, with some branding the decision another example of Britain going soft on crime. Mr Smith, who suffers from anxiety, now faces an uncertain future after losing his job.A GoFundMe page set up in his support: gofundme.com/f/raising-mone… Supporters are urging people to donate to help him through this difficult time while he looks for work in the Clapham area. Waitrose has so far refused to comment further on the full facts of the case. This isn't just about one broken chocolate egg. It's about a country where petty crime has effectively become decriminalised and where honest working class workers like Walker Smith are punished while repeat offenders walk free. Retail giants must stop hiding behind weak policies and start backing the people who keep their stores running. Reinstate Walker Smith now. #UKNews #CrimeNews #BoycottWaitrose

@BasilTheGreat @AllisonPearson @waitrose This policy from Waitrose makes sense putting employee safety above anything they sell. But after 17 years couldn’t they have been a little forgiving, sent him on course, issued a warning, did it have to result in him losing his job? Loyalty, length of service all worthless!

From today, Working British parents will both now need to earn a combined total of £71,000 just to match the benefits of non-working families with 3 children. Labour always tax the productive to subsidise the unproductive.
