@British_Airways I am guessing your teams are working hard to sort the lost bags. I reported mine 14 hrs ago in YYR, BA0093, but no email or text to acknowledge. Unusual. Tried to register again, but 'report lost bag' page seems to hang. Too many reports? Public update?

@British_Airways Annoyingly, there are a number of 'agents' that appear to be from you like @BritishMaxwell and @BritishXXX who have said they are from you. Very frustrating.

@British_Airways Yes. And this is why it is surprising that I haven't had anything from WorldTracer (having been through this process 4-5 times before). No email, no text. And no way of registering, hence coming to Twitter...

@HumaninSystem Okay. Did you report your delayed baggage to our Baggage team at the airport? They would normally create a WorldTracer reference for you. Liz

@British_Airways Thanks. The problem is that I don't have a reference number (no email, no text, had bags lost 4-5 times before, so know the procedure) and the registration/logging in page doesn't go beyond the username and password so can't generate a registration.

Bring it on - part of the problem is that academic HFE is so small and as a result the empty vessels make the most noise - BTW - I have no academic qualifications in HFE - I like to remind my colleagues of that once in a while 😉

The best way to gauge the quality of someone’s ideas isn’t to listen to them talking. It’s to read their writing.
Compelling speakers can mask weak logic with strong charisma. Putting key points on a page exposes flawed reasoning.
Compelling writing requires clear thinking.

@BMA_James_Steen @PatrickWaterso1 I think ‘safety-critical industry’ is the wrong analogy. Healthcare is not an industry. And the fact that it’s a jigsaw of organisations seems to impede learning. Ironically. The need to adapt to local factors is another issue.

The idea that healthcare is anything like aviation is ridiculous - let’s put that in a box and bury it - it was once a good place to start, but now it is high time to move on.

@DrEilidhMaria Healthcare needs to implement a Human Factors strategy if we hope to reduce the huge numbers of Adverse Events in the system. Aviation has spent decades honing this yet healthcare is still quite resistant to the concept. @KenCatchpole @CIEHF @StevenShorrock @MartinBromiley
