Paid holiday is a good example. In the UK, most 5-day workers are entitled to at least 28 days a year. Rights like that did not appear by magic. They came from decades of pressure, campaigning and legislation that unions were central to.

I’m pig sick of these continual attacks on Keir Starmer. He is doing a great job and in very difficult circumstances. Not only is he repairing the colossal damage done by 14 years of Tory mismanagement, not an easy task, but he is representing us superbly on the international stage. I suspect there is a concerted and clandestine effort to remove him originating from some very dodgy people indeed, not least the disgraceful administration in the US including the criminal Trump himself. The UK has around 17 million hectares of farmland - 69 per cent of the total land area of the UK. The idea some of it can’t be given over to solar without endangering food security is absurd.

We are now spending five times more on welfare than on defence. This must change! The Conservatives will bring back the two-child benefit cap and use the money for defence. The security of the United Kingdom is our priority, and we have a plan for a stronger country.
