Hot take: I shouldn’t have to buy a cheap duplex or “starter home” that doesn’t suit my needs to get into the housing market. I should just be able to buy a reasonably priced home with a good yard and a few bedrooms like my grandparents did and keep it forever.

Just wanted to congratulate @AmericanAir for the worst costumer service I’ve seen in a long time. My flight from JFK to Brazil was delayed for over 12h and I lost a full day of work. Okay, problems can happen, but what can’t happen is: 1. I got no refund for my multiple trips coming and going from the airport because of them; 2. My luggage was not returned to me; 3. After coming to the airport for the 2nd time to my flight, it was delayed AGAIN for 2h, for now a combined delay of 14-15h. 4. After all those issues… I was offered a US$12 voucher. What an I supposed to do with this money in JFK? 5. Still waiting to board… By the way, I’m not a first time costumer. I’ve been a Platinum Pro, Executive Platinum or Concierge Key client for the past 10 years+, with over 800,000 miles with the company. Yes, I guess it is finally time to be rational, listen to my friends and quality rankings… and change my preferred airline.
