The Jewish community is our community - in London, people of all faiths and none should be able to live peacefully alongside each other. I was humbled to visit Hatzola ambulance service today. We stand together against antisemitic hatred - we’ll always reject those who seek to divide us.

This is a deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.  My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news.  Antisemitism has no place in our society.  Anyone with any information must come forward to the police.

We are deeply saddened and shocked by the senseless attack in the early hours of this morning at the Hatzola Northwest ambulance base.   Hatzola NW, along with all Hatzola organisations, provides life-saving services without discrimination, regardless of faith or background. It is extremely distressing and difficult to comprehend that such a vital service could be targeted and attacked in such a way. 
We are working closely with the police and relevant support agencies to ensure the safety and security of our premises and resources, so that we can continue to respond swiftly to emergencies.

Pleasure to host Ed Kirk, Head of School Improvement @SalfordCouncil, on a visit to our schools. He joined lessons, met pupils and staff, and shared thoughtful guidance with leaders. Really positive engagement, strengthening our partnership.

Great to welcome Cllr @RobertAChapman to visit several of our schools and community organisations. We had constructive discussions about how the Council can better support local families, education settings and community services. Grateful for the time taken and the willingness to engage.

Yesterday I joined the Jewish Community Council of Gateshead for a discussion and a walk round Bensham. We stand with them in this time of grief and will work together to root out antisemitism from our society. Every community must be safe in Britain.

I was thrilled to attend the Shomrim Emergency Services Open Day yesterday on Clapton Common. This year's event was bigger and better than in previous years, offering an afternoon filled with community engagement, safety, and exciting demonstrations from the Hackney Community Safety Partnership. Over a thousand young people and children participated, enjoying showcases from the @hackneycouncil Civil Protection Team, Enforcement Officers, Tackling Hate Crime team, the Police, London Fire's and Rescue Service, the London Ambulance Service, and our hosts, Shomrim. A big thank you to all the participants and the Shomrim Executive for organising such a wonderful event, especially to my dear friend and community leader, @RabbiHerschelGluck As the Cabinet Member for Community Safety in Hackney, this event is one of my annual highlights, showcasing how partners can work together to keep the community safe. I’m grateful for the strong community support and teamwork that ensures our safety in Hackney. Today I joined Communities Champion Cllr Mark Grosskopf, along with Hackney Cllrs, at the Food Lifeline Distribution Centre to witness the charitable work undertaken by ZSV Reps & volunteers to provide food parcels to families across Hackney & Haringey in time for Passover.

On Friday, with work experience student Adina Ahmed, I visited historic Bobov Synagogue in Stamford Hill, and was taken by ⁦@InterlinkFDN⁩ to some impressive social projects, including @Hatzola volunteer-run ambulance service
