My role as the CS for @KeTreasury is to communicate facts as they are, but I can't dictate how one interpretes the message thereafter, only that the interpretation should be properly contextualised. I boldly say: I didn't lie to the country as was reported by @StandardKenya.

@AmbJohnBolton You’ve long championed interventionism. Yet the record in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan raises serious questions about whether externally imposed regime change delivers stability — or just prolonged conflict. Why double down on a strategy with such a costly track record?

Trump has made it clear. This is a regime change mission. But you don't achieve regime change by replacing Khamenei with another ayatollah. In order for regime change to happen, the entire structure of the ayatollahs and the Revolutionary Guard must be swept away.

I'm happy to hear “Rero ni Rero” song by Daniel Musindi, a campaign song I helped coin being used in the split ODM rallies in Kakamega and Siaya respectively! When I told Baba about this hit way before we used it at the Kasarani delegates conference he had a, deeply satisfying building smile on his face. Baba died too soon.

@MrKipkalya A common friend mentioned to me how Karangi swore in 2013 before elections that he can never salute Raila even in the unlikely event he became president. That he (Karangi) would rather step down as CDF.

I have always considered Gen Julius Karangi the worst chief of Kenya's military. Of course you know that the legend Gen Daudi Chepkonga Rerimoi Tonje will always be the best, but I will repeat it until you die of hearing it. Let me tell you another story before I come back to that fool Karangi. There are parts of this story that I have already shared here. When declining a term extension and heading for retirement in 2000, Gen Tonje advised Moi to appoint Lt Gen Daniel Opande, his VCGS, the next CGS. Tonje called Opande to let him know he had recommended him for CGS. At that time, Opande was considered the finest military man in all of Africa, and Tonje thought it would bring so much pride and prestige to the Kenyan military if Opande became CGS. But Moi immediately called Annan, who had been pestering him to release Opande to the UN mission in Sierra Leone for moths, to come and get his man. Instead, Moi appointed the colourless Joseph Raymond Kibwana of Kenya Navy as CGS. Kibwana would find himself in charge when the delicate transition of 2002 came, but the two military men who ensured a smooth transition were the absolutely principled pair of Army Commander Lt Gen Lazaro Sumbeiywo and his deputy, Maj Gen ASK Njoroge. Gen Tonje had intended that when the CGS rotation began within the three services, it would begin with Gen Opande of the Army. But once Moi appointed Kibwana of Navy, the next would have to be an Air Force officer. Lt Gen Nick Leshan, a celebrated fighter pilot, was the only one who qualified for promotion, when Kibaki was due to appoint a new CGS. But Kibaki first extended Kibwana's term, retired Leshan and then later appointed Gen Jeremiah Kianga of Army, bypassing the Air Force. The games had began. In that period, if Kibaki wanted a Kikuyu CGS, he had three Lt Gens to pick from over that period. Lt Gen Njuki Mwaniki, Lt Gen ASK Njoroge (both of whom had become Kenya Army Commanders) and Lt Gen Humphrey Njoroge (Commandant NDC). But he skipped all of them for Kianga. And Kibaki then began a tradition that you can see to date: that of a President waiting to have his tribesmen as CDF at the end of his second term. Mwaniki, Njoroge and Njoroge were all Nyeri Kikuyus (even though the two Njoroges had settled in Nyandarua and Nakuru) like Kibaki. But Kibaki was holding on for Karangi to be CDF at the end of his second term. Just like Uhuru inherited Karangi from Kibaki, then appointed Mwathethe, but had Kibochi at the end of his rule. Similarly, Ruto could have appointed Lt Gen Albert Kendagor as CDF instead of Ogola, but plans to have a Kalenjin General towards the second term and had to bypass Kendagor. It's now a tradition. Anyway, long before he was a powerful CDF with political connections, Karangi was the Chief of Procurement at DoD as a Brigadier. He made loads of money. Then he had a privileged service until he became CDF. In 2013, he decided to get involved in the electoral issues, including procurement of the system. He practically babysat the process that gave Uhuru power in 2013. He believed that Raila would never be President as long as he lived. Even after he retired, they posted him to lucrative boards like KAA. The man always followed the money. And tribal politics. He had a major fallout with Uhuru, after he retired, when Uhuru did a handshake with Raila. All that money has gone down the drain, because Karangi is said to be very sick, in the same manner as the last days of CJ Evan Gicheru, who was said to spend days in the bushes naked and eating leaves. Gicheru was a key player in stealing Raila's victory in 2007 just like Karangi was, five years later. Now Karangi is said to be demented and badly off. It seems everyone who steals Raila's votes ends the same way. Money can't help. In fact, most of the money has been lost. How sad.

3 MPs from Kakamega who attended the urgent meeting called by President Ruto at Statehouse say that they have never seen President Ruto look worried like they did in today’s meeting. According to sources, the outgoing President hurriedly called the meeting to explain to the MPs why Sifuna was removed from ODM SG. Mr. Ruto begged the MPs present, some of whom had expressed solidarity with and support for Sifuna, terming his removal from ODM SG position unfair, not to attend the upcoming Linda Wanainchi Rally in Kakamega. The MPs said the President promised them more development and completion of stalled projects if remain with him. Each MP was given kshs 5 million for “softening the ground” and preach Tutam gospel.

Ndugu I told you a month ago. We've seen the worst of BLACKMAIL but as it is clear, 22 years now: 1. The worst of LIES & BLACKMAIL never work for this Ministry, it bulges day in & out✅️ 2. The Ministry has outlived many from inception. Many I can literally mention 100+, just leave in Peace once you leave. If you think it can affect our numbers or progress, utashangaa sana!✅️ 3. Many of you want to be clebrities by having a running mouth, Prophet morning, Prophet Noon, Prophet Evening, just open your own Churches & run a Ministry if you all wish. Hii ya Bwana mtuachie!✅️ 4. Call Menengai 9 & weigh the effect this has had on us, if this thing was man's, ingeisha kitambo: a. They began by saying we don't go to school, now we are professionals✅️ b. They moved to another lie, we have own bibles, that lie too died✅️ c. They then began the war on the personality of the Prophet, that top has gone down the drain. ✅️ d. Then came, ooh miracles are fake, Bethwell SIRENGO is here, Shirleen is here, Cynthia Wanjiku is here, that LIE TOO knelt down✅️ e. Then came the fat MALICE, they don't marry. It collapsed on own merit✅️ 5. In the Villages of Kenya, are many sheep of Christ who don't even know Amenya or TV47 exists somewhere. They only JESUS, THE CRIPPLES WALKING, THE BLIND SEEING, HIV DELETED & MEDICALLY VERIFIABLE etc. ✅️ Huu Mwaka mtashangaa sana!

Dr. Oburu Oginga is a leader many of us respect not just for his experience but for who he is as a person. He carries himself with calm, humility and a deep sense of responsibility. He listens more than he speaks, values people and understands that leadership is about service not self-promotion. Over the years, Dr. Oburu has shown consistency, patience and wisdom. He believes in dialogue, unity and building institutions that last. In moments when noise and distractions are everywhere, he remains focused on what truly matters-strengthening the party, supporting inclusive leadership and standing with the people. No amount of distractions will divert us from our goal. We are clear, focused and determined to support Dr. Oburu Oginga to succeed as a leader. This is about purpose not politics for its own sake. It is about continuity, stability and doing the right thing even when it is not the easiest path. I am personally obligated to stand with him, support him and contribute to his success. I take that responsibility seriously. It comes from respect, trust, and a genuine belief in his ability to lead with integrity, wisdom and compassion. At the same time, our support for a broad-based government is unwavering. We believe in inclusion, unity and working together for the greater good of the country-beyond personalities, beyond divisions. We move forward together-steady, united and focused-fully committed to seeing Dr. Oburu Oginga succeed for the good of the party and the nation.

Profit Owuor Transfiguration scam: Owuor claimed he was transfigured like Jesus at Riverside drive where he was chased away by the family of Jane Njage, the pictures were captured by Lily Macharia from a tv whose power cable had been stepped on and had a glitch, they were adopted without question and used to propagate the imaginary powers. For Finland transfiguration they were edited by the late Fridah using a graphics designer who is in Nairobi CBD Alifanya kazi Safi sana mpaka kina Macharia and her team at head office wakatusiwa na kulaaniwa for always destroying the “glory” from Goma 😂. Debunking everything step by step.

There is this character called Okech Salah. He happened on the scene out of nowhere in the past few months (just like Kasmuel McOure). Typical of intelligence operatives, he wormed his way into the Raila inner circle (even getting himself the fancy reference of "Raila's adopted son"). After Raila died, he somehow popped up beside @dr_oburuoginga and stayed there. He now addresses rallies explaining what Raila supposedly told him in his last wishes (including Sifuna being a "mole"). He doesn't say in what capacity Raila told him important things. Neither does he say who adopted him after Raila died. And he speaks DhoLuo. There is a really disturbing pattern in this Raila transition. It is that there are at least two Somalis (Salah and Junet @JunetMohamed) planting themselves comfortably within the community's top leadership in order to manipulate the new political dispensation, as if the Luo haven't produced enough sons and daughters to lead the charting of its destiny. Salah and Junet should be leading the Ruto re-election campaign from Garissa and Mandera respectively, but something tells them that the most enlightened tribe in this land, and the most politically active, is so devoid of real leaders that it needs Somalis to lead it, by hiding conveniently behind the legacy of the Luo community's most remarkable son. And it doesn't stop there. While posturing as the saviours of the Luo, both Salah and Junet are listing who should be chased away and not who should be embraced. These natives of Garissa and Mandera do not want the Luo to make friends; just enemies. In what world would Raila discuss his SG with a shadowy character nobody had heard of a few months ago? Where was Raila's real confidantes like @dr_oburuoginga and Ida Odinga? Who is Salah? What is his real name? Where did Raila register his adoption? Where was he before 2025? Why isn't he conducting his rallies in North Eastern? Isn't there ODM there too? I would like to see the shallow cast of @_KasKazini and Salah running for office or for ODM party positions, so that we can believe their political credentials. It is too juvenile to hang onto the memory of a dead man, or his supposed "last wishes" as your only political contribution in this space. Bring Your Own Base. BYOB. Then we can listen to you.

Kipkalya Kones
Kipkalya Kones@MrKipkalya·
I took a mental note of all speeches by ODM leaders yesterday. Here is my summary. 1. @AnyangNyongo: Raila's ideological and birth twin. He suffers no fools and will never be a sycophant. For all intents and purposes, he is the real Luo leader left, regardless of what the others say or do. Amolo trusted him the most. He avoided simping. He is the one whose lead the community will follow. 2. @orengo_james: He is "the other Raila", because he may have been the Luo leader if Raila hadn't grabbed it in 1997. From his speech, you could tell that the Siaya Investment Conference hasn't been completed, the pier at Usenge still not yet built and the nuclear energy plant needs to be completed. So he balanced between burning photo and waiting a little longer. He and Nyong'o are the true ideological peers of Raila. Luos will follow them. 3. @A_S_Nassir: Deputy Party Leader. But a coward who has lived so long under Joho's shadow that he has no idea when he is free. He reminds me of Moi's parable of a chicken bought at the market, with its feet bound, such that when it gets home and the strings are removed, it doesn't realise it, and moves around as if it is still bound. He fears that Hassan Omar will come for his seat and Joho may sponsor someone else, so he has to hang on Ruto. He has no ideology and no script. Just a shell moving one day at a time. 4. @SimbaArati: Deputy Party Leader. He is obviously waiting to see where Matiangi and/or Maraga land(s) before he decides what to do. In the meantime, he will remain ambivalent. 5. @HonSenOsotsi: Deputy Party Leader. He always reminds me of a girl in those Kileleshwa spas. "Styro unataka dio nitukupea beb". No person there. Flag moving with the wind. 6. @JunetMohamed: Raila is gone. Junet is gone too. End of analysis. 7. Gladys Wanga: Junet's ideological twin. Her political model is "buy them all or manipulate them all". With Raila gone and no one to raise her hand, she is gone too! 8. Ruth Odinga: The new hope. She will save the community. Because she knows the cartels and wants them gone. She carries a powerful name and knows her brother's last words. 9. Edwin Sifuna: There is a reason Raila protected Sifuna. Even his enemies admitted that when Sifuna speaks, Raila has spoken. Now the masses are out there waiting to confirm which voice they resonate with. There will be drama from now. 10. ODM Experts: Mbadi is a powerful orator in DhoLuo, and can carry the audience any day, but he is so hot headed that he is quite easily a member of the Sifuna faction, if you remove the flag. Time will tell. 11. Joho: Cartel without ideology. 12. Opranya: Lazy politician. Waiting to be told where to go. 13. Askul: Kiawa. 14. Wandayi: A sycophant who lost respect for self and stopped trying to act dignified. Simp extraordinaire. 15. Millie Odhiambo: I will make this comment next year. 16. Ledama: Thermostat.
