Heard from a scout today who was very impressed with Scott last night: "He has a plus-plus fastball with ride that explodes at the top of the zone. The sweeper breaks late, gets chases when he commands it. If he develops his change-up he can be a top-of-the-rotation starter."

Anthony Volpe's rehab clock runs through the weekend. At that point, the #Yankees will have two choices:
1. Activate their starting shortstop of 3 years
2. Option him to the minors
The latter would be a drastic departure from the way the club has handled Volpe in the past. But with the clock ticking and José Caballero clicking, the choice, at the very least, exists.
