One of the saddest realizations being in tech is that a lot of capital allocation happens on vibes, networks, fomo, and marketing. I have said this to a lot of our researchers; the best and most rigorous science does not necessarily win. The downstream effects of that is that we probably have a very big graveyard of real scientific innovation (actual cures, therapeutics and more), while questionable projects have millions.

Big anti aging news Scientists Identify Core "Aging Genes" Shared Across Species. Silencing Them Extends Lifespan Researchers publishing in Aging Cell have pinpointed a set of core genes that drive aging across multiple species, from humans to worms. By analyzing 25 large gene expression datasets and testing the results in C. elegans, they found 6 key genes whose suppression extended lifespan by up to 15%. These genes regulate immune activity, tissue maintenance, and DNA stability, and many are already linked to age related diseases like Alzheimer’s and macular degeneration. The findings reveal universal aging mechanisms and new targets for anti aging therapies.
