Fast forward to justice denied in the unprovoked and horrific attack in Fairfax County. Policy failures in the Virginia justice system prioritized “fair” leniency over public safety. The Rap Sheet: A Decade of Warning Signs Abdul Jalloh, a 32-year-old illegal from Sierra Leone, was not a "first-time offender." He was a walking red flag with a monstrous history that should have kept him far away from our community: ‼️40+ prior criminal charges, including violent offenses like rape, malicious wounding, and battery. ‼️A 2020 deportation order that was never effectively enforced. ‼️Repeatedly released despite a deportation order and a violent track record.
