As a developer, which one do you prefer more? (Be honest) 👀

@nicbarkeragain To be honest I've given it much thought, but it looks better on the right side

Programmers: do you have a consistent preference for which side you put the literal on in a comparison? // Right-hand side if (someValue == 1) {} // Left-hand side if (1 == someValue) {}

The Claude desktop app has some very odd things about it, normally I'd imagine this was code added and removed, but this was a completely fresh convo and it has yet to add anything xD

@motiondotdev @mattgperry Does this work in react or do we need the view transition component to be able to do this?

New Motion+ example: Skeleton Uses invisible placeholder content rather than manual sizing to reduce layout shifts. AnimateView handles the maskImage animation via the browser's View Transition API.

It's insane to me that I can't disable the worktree branching behavior of claude desktop app. Why do you insist on making new branches, completely fucks up the flow

Just tried "fast" mode in codex. What a terrible way to spend your money. 5 hour token limit reached in less than an hour with sloppy, broken code that bricked the app and I'm back where I started.

How does one teach "use composition" for react, it's a recurring pain point in my PRs

@RyanCarniato @solid_js Cool, not sure what it will look like when the framework ensures correctness by default. But it’s at least an admirable pursuit, hoping for the best. Maybe when v2 releases I’ll finally give solid a go

@ryanflorence Its gonna be fun to try out, kinda hard for me to judge whether it will be good or not. V3 seems overly verbose, however I can also see a lot of benefits in the approach

There's a chance backend/frontend libraries are useless now for web dev. I guess that's the Remix 3 experiment. Can you get better results by giving the agent a more expressive vocabulary? I'm open to being wrong, but I think so. We're almost done and I'm excited to test it

@samyam_youtube I think it’s two fold, a lot of games are released as early access and thus updates are expected. And a lot of developers do update their games continuously. So if you don’t update your games regularly you stick out to some degree

would you rather vibe code an app and find out no one wants to use it sooner or hand craft your app with perfect architecture and find out no one wants to use it a year later

Does vercel have a patent on the ability to copy paste key AND value so you don't have to copy twice?? Seems like the easiest UX win of all time but I've only seen it done on vercel And pssst @deno_land if it ain't patented you should get on it, everything else on deploy feels so nice

@tannerlinsley Since the skills are installed based on the project, does that mean that your ai which skill belongs to which project? Or do you have to install intents when you’re switching and the version might not be the same?

TanStack CLI now ships with skills! Just update @ tanstack/cli via NPM and tell your agent to run `@ tanstack/intent list`! If you're curious what TanStack Intent is or how it works, check this out: tanstack.com/blog/from-docs…
