New Yorkers love their cars.
It shouldn’t cost this much to insure them.
We’re going after fraud and bringing costs down.

The amount of grief that @Timodc is getting on his Hasan Piker take is pure garbage. We are in an existential fight where either MAGA prevails or America survives, with nothing in between, and Tim is among the best leaders in that fight.
@CarltonHuffman@Timodc Respectfully prices were just as high under Biden - gas prices and inflation were higher. And there was no sensible immigration plan. Antisemitism is rife on the left and is not being challenged with real solutions. Playing footsie with Hasan Piker for votes tells me everything
@KNEW70@Timodc Stopping tariffs, unaccountable executive actions, and reining in wars that spike inflation and gas prices is the definition of improving people’s lives
@CarltonHuffman@Timodc Perhaps Democrats should ask themselves what they have to offer instead. All I hear is “holding Trump to account” not how they will improve things. And the ultimate King like act was nominating Kamala Harris as our candidate without a primary.
@mrmikeMTL When identity politics took hold. When political fealty replaced critical thinking and moral clarity. When diversity of viewpoint was chased out of college campuses.

@billybragg@HayleyAlter The so called progressive left are a much bigger threat to Jewish people than the right. Labour, The Greens and Your Party are packed with anti semites. They’ve hijacked the meaning of Zionism to portray it as a nefarious, evil ideology and think that gives them cloud cover.
@HayleyAlter My understanding of gaslighting is that it involves denying something is happening. I don’t deny that Labour have a problem with anti semitism but I don’t believe that Corbyn represents an ‘existential threat’ to the the Jewish community. Do you?
Austria is forcing Jews to register, the Alt-Right are chanting “Jews will not replace us” but Labour pose an “existential threat” to British Jews? How are we supposed to conduct a reasoned debate about anti-semitism in such a febrile atmosphere? theguardian.com/politics/2018/…
Which things or experiences in your life are or feel terribly designed, even to this day?
Example:
— TV remotes
— Car touch screen interfaces
— Shower controls (especially at hotels)
— Thermostats (mostly)
— Microwave interfaces
What are experiences, products or little things that are repeatedly frustrating to use?
@BBCNews Finding balance with tech is a big challenge for parents and it's unfair to judge against growing up in previous generations. Kids are surrounded by screens at home and at school and it's addictive, for adults too. Tech companies hold a lot of the responsibility not just parents.
Gavin, know where you stand and stand there. You said you what you meant. I don’t know what billionaire got in your ear but it’s not working for you. This is not how you are going to win. It’s Apartheid and it’s a Genocide. Today!

“We’re living in a time now when artists are saying things like, ‘Art shouldn’t be political,’” actor Denise Gough tells me. “People are censoring themselves out of fear.”
