Champions reminder: unless you have brought two megas or your base form has a different reusable ability, you don't need to conserve mega like you do tera. Even if you're just protecting t1 you should mega so if you swap out t2 you have better defense stats to switch back in with

@combtay Not true. If you're using Mega Skarmory you'll want to keep it in base form until you get a Weak Armor proc so you can Mega with 2x Speed. Normally how I play it is I try to predict a Fake Out and switch Skarmory into that slot but if I mess up I can't Mega quite yet.

Most people just play better in a car they’re comfortable with and switching would not be worth the decreased performance

Its an esport, one where there is already little strategy to begin with. There is untapped potential here than no one wants to pay attention to.

Specifically, regarding my usage of the Dominus in Rocket League. Although I am certain that the car has the untapped potential to be even greater than the octane hitbox, every single player that is greater than I has told me it's a lost cause. Not only that, but with the recent switch from Dominus to Fennec, @TempoH_RL stands as a shining example of how wrong I am. I don't want to abandon the Dominus. I want to be the one who brings out it's full potential. I want to be the one to show the world how amazing the car can truly be, but yet, the results I desire have eluded me. Last season of RLCS, not a single Day 3. Not a single top 32 finish. Split 1 of this season, the same. So here we are, back to the original question, put simply: How much longer do I give the Dominus until I heed the advice of my companions? Here's the bet: If I do not finish Top 32 in these next 3 events, I will be switching from Dominus to Octane. The first run starts on Friday 7PM EST. All streamed live on my Twitch. @DevilsHornsHa @JamaicanCocoRL Problem is that even if the 50s are better, the hitbox is worse in so many other ways that it’s not worth it. The best hitbox is the one that does the most things well

@JamaicanCocoRL Objective is probably too strong. My main issue is that hitboxes are a neglected part of Rocket League. There's actual strategy there that people mostly ignore. If a pro team wanted to specialize in 50s, they could even build around something like the merc.
