As the industrial fire continues to send toxic smoke over LA, once again Angelenos get more political theater than leadership. @KarenBassLA and @YsabelJuradoLA owe residents answers. Why wasn’t there faster communication? What safeguards were in place? What is being done to protect families exposed to hazardous air? Leadership isn’t holding press conferences after the fact, it’s being prepared before disaster strikes. Angelenos deserves better.

Karen was sipping cocktails in Chicago when the Boyle Heights Fire erupted, just as she was sipping cocktails in Ghana when our Palisades Fire erupted. I warned you all...what happened to us will happen to all of LA. That smoke choking out LA is full of lead. Don't breathe it!

Superintendent Carvalho finally resigned after milking his paid leave and fat paycheck for as long as possible, hoping to ride it out again. Not this time. Accountability is coming. More heads need to roll in this mess. LA families deserve better.
