@rigobear72 @chriscfore Pop Warner national tournament is 3 games max, 1 game a day and 1 day rest in between games. It's still not great, but it's not 3 games in one day followed by 2 more the following day. And if you make it that far, you played a 16-game season, not 24 like AAU

Tournaments for tackle football are absolutely ridiculous. Most likely a money grab by overzealous parents. Having kids play 2-4 tackle games in a day to give them a stupid plastic ring is nonsense.

@roselimom_3 We have single age divisions available so he can play with kids his own age.

My son is a 7th grader who is still 11. Holding him back 1 yr. He’s a kicker and OL, he can kick 35 yrs now. Youth football in the SGV is watered down besides a few programs. Do you think it’s a smart move to keep him training but allow him to take this season off?

@chriscfore We love seeing as many kids as possible come out and play football. The most important thing here is the choice should not be taken away from parents. As a league we are doing everything we can to move the game forward, last season we added Guardian caps for all players.
