It really is that simple... we're re-running the 1970s stagflation playbook on steroids. It's an energy shock, compounded by an industrial materials shock, and soon to be compounded by a food supply crisis.
This is all going to eat into a consumer wallet already ravaged by five years inflation, like a giant tax on the economy that sucks purchasing power out of thin air.
Oh, and the top 10% that's kept the economy afloat on the wealth effect? Kiss that goodbye, too.
It's a recipe for a global recession.
What will work? Own the things that are in shortage, and short everything else. Don't overcomplicate it.

Middle East is on fire... more than 20% #OIL and Natural Gas gone for at least couple of years and you should buy a fraud like CoreWeave... at least buy Nvidia... anyway, to my surprise, in the middle of this war, they managed to sell this idea and Coreweave actually rallied 6% before crashing 16%...
So, we have morons in financial industry who read Bank of America's idiotic research and bought CRWV for their customers when the world is a few weeks away from a disaster worse than Covid.
There is something fundamentally wrong about our financial industry and it cannot be fixed. We have to burnt it down like Truman did with OSS. These people who are writing these research papers and the fools buying and selling for other people after reading them belong to a zoo.
This is the result of easy money policies of #FederalReserve after 17 years...
