The 🇨🇦 NDP just interrupted our Mother's Day brunch to tell me that teachers ~should~ be able to keep secrets from parents. Guess how that went over? 💅 #mothersday2024 | #skpoli | #cdnpoli

Tiktok removed my video for "hateful behaviour" because I told a man who was naked in a woman's locker room that he shouldn't be in there. This is the world we live in.

Alberta's Bill 25 bans 'specialty flags,' reins in activism, puts classrooms back to basics Alberta is taking a sledgehammer to something that never should have been controversial in the first place: politics in the classroom. With Bill 25, Premier Danielle Smith’s government is drawing a hard line. Schools are for learning, not activism, and this time, the rules are explicit. No “specialty flags” in classrooms. That means no political or ideological banners, whether tied to gender activism, international conflicts, or any other cause. Schools are public institutions, not campaign offices, and they’re supposed to feel neutral to every student who walks through the door. The bill also cracks down on school boards acting like political lobby groups. No more issuing statements on every trending issue or turning education bureaucracies into vehicles for activism. Their job is to run schools, and that’s it. For teachers, the direction is just as clear — be objective and present balanced perspectives. Don’t use your position to steer students toward a preferred political or ideological outcome. Students are there to learn how to think, not what to think. And there’s a protection built in. Teachers can opt out of delivering material that conflicts with their sincerely held religious or moral beliefs, without fear of punishment. Bill 25 builds on Alberta’s broader effort to restore parental authority, led by Smith’s government. That includes ending policies that allowed schools to socially transition children without parental knowledge, and removing sexually explicit material from school libraries. Critics are already calling it censorship. But stripping activism out of classrooms isn’t censorship. If neutrality feels like a threat, it’s probably because the system wasn’t neutral to begin with. Alberta parents want their kids focused on the basics at school. Our government is not backing down on this. The NDP don’t agree and based upon the “equity card” meltdowns from their recent convention, one can see why…

“This is the law, and if you don’t think that should be the law, you can’t be Canadian, you don’t belong here,” Minister Demetrios Nicolaides recounts a student berated by a teacher for opting out of a classroom Pride event on religious grounds.

Remember, women – if you’re uncomfortable with the idea of getting naked around this person, you’re a fascist and a transphobe, and progressives believe you deserve to be raped and murdered for your bigotry.

This is absurd. Not surprised coming from Canada. What about WOMEN'S Human rights ? Every time an athlete signs up for a sport there are consequences that come a long with it - meaning drug tests or in IOC'S case a non evasive cheek swab test. Women do NOT sign up to be dominated by MEN. We also do NOT consent to men in our lockerrooms. We expect changes. Women and girls want fairness in sports, we want dignity & safety. @PierrePoilievre @ICFSport @cawsbar @RebelNewsOnline

New rules announced by the International Olympic Committee risk undermining the principle that sport is a human right. Policies that exclude athletes and authorize invasive testing have no place in a rights-respecting sporting system. ccla.org/press-release/…

A society that can be made to believe - or comply out of fear - with the idea that a man is a woman - is a society that can be made to believe terrorists are the good guys, that Islamists are justified and that the West is worse than our dictatorial, tyrannical enemies who seek to subvert our societies
J.K. Rowling@jk_rowling

Today's ruling by the IOC means a welcome return to fair sport for women and girls, but I'll never forget the scandal of Paris 2024, when people who consider themselves supremely virtuous and progressive publicly cheered on men punching women.

@RRCcoffee @AmazingZoltan The male coach of an Alberta team entered a powerlifting meet as a woman, after learning the female athletes would be competing against a trans IDd male. The coach got gold, trans took silver, and the actual women competed for bronze. Then Danielle Smith got involved. 💅

The IOC finally got it right by keeping biological males out of women’s Olympic sports. Our daughters and female athletes deserve a level playing field based on biology, not ideology. I spoke to this issue previously in the legislature. Premier @Dave_Eby , follow the IOC’s lead and protect women’s sports in B.C. immediately.
