International campaign group advocating for sports to have a dedicated category for athletes born female. No sex discrimination in sports! (CEDAW, Article 10g)

Lost a national title to a man. Spoke up. Now facing a lifetime ban. Women’s sports—and free speech—are on the line.

Another case of women having to fight for rights secured long ago. Masters swimming "... there must be zero tolerance of bullying, misogyny & harassment from those trying to cheat their way to wins & places they have no right to" @sharrond62 @UnionWomens state-of-swimming.ghost.io/u-s-masters-on…

Former University of Wyoming volleyball star Macey Boggs says friendships with teammates were destroyed during the SJSU trans athlete scandal, over disagreements on whether to forfeit two games. She claims most players initially voted to play the games, but she and others planned to refuse to play anyway. The games were ultimately forfeited, as Macey says her athletic director made the final decision. Wyoming took the two losses, just barely missed the playoffs, and she claims the players went down separate paths after that. Now, she mocks SJSU for suing the Trump administration to challenge Title IX penalties for its handling of the trans scandal, and she's prepared to take on any online hate to do it.

Last year, we announced the Department of Health is processing all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within 3 business days, down from as much as a 10 month wait. This week, I signed a bill ensuring Washingtonians can change the sex designation on their state IDs and birth certificates without fear of violating their privacy. Washington state is committed to protecting the rights of transgender and gender diverse people. That includes their legal right to reflect their gender on these documents. Thanks to prime sponsor Sen. Pedersen.

🚨 The Olympics Committee is reportedly planning to ban transgender and intersex athletes from women's events completely. They'd also make all female athletes undergo genetic sex testing to compete. This is a huge reversal since they dropped universal sex testing after the 1996 Olympics and have avoided blanket transgender rules for years. The recommendations are expected sometime in the first half of 2026. Over 80 human rights groups are calling it a "catastrophic erosion of women's rights" and pushing back hard. Source: Reuters

More than 80 human rights organisations have urged the IOC to drop plans for chromosomal sex testing and a blanket ban on transgender athletes. The groups warn the measures would be a major setback for gender equality in sport. 📷: Getty Images insidethegames.biz/articles/ioc-u…

The vast majority of female athletes will cheer on the IOC if it finally supports a dedicated female category via once in a lifetime sex screen via cheek swab. It will ensure male athletes with trans identities or male DSDs do not compete in women's sport. sportandrightsalliance.org/olympics-sex-t…
