"You're not in heaven because God doesn't want you there" is certainly a theological take.
Tom Hicks@TomHicks2LCF
“Daddy, what are Arminians?” “They are the people who believe God wants to save everyone but fails.”
English

@ThatGoldenChain No, I just don't take "Paul appealed to creation and fall" as proper exegises.
Do you care to go into more detail?
English

@LukeFHan Luke, respectfully, you’re acting like you didn’t read my comment. Your church has given into feminism and spat in the face of Paul, who rooted his teaching on the subject not in any local custom but in CREATION AND THE FALL. Please try to read and attempt to have an honest convo
English

It's funny how feminists lament the "unpaid labor" that is motherhood.
Then celebrates that the Church will now ask women to perform even more unpaid labor in Sunday school presidencies.
Peggy Fletcher Stack@religiongal
Important move toward gender equity in the LDS Church. What do you think? sltrib.com/religion/2026/…
English

@realDailyWire The fact that nobody laughed makes it 3x funnier. 😂😂
English

@jaredadairbell I think if you changed the intro, the caption, and the aspect ratio to 16:9 it could do well.
Also, I bet it would do the numbers on Instagram.
English

@MAGA_Mormon You know you've turned into a protestant when you start giving Bible citations without actually quoting the Bible or explaining why your interpretation of it is correct.
English

@LukeFHan It's time to start demanding the resignation of our fallen prophets, unseers, and treacherators. They're flagrantly violating 1 Corinthians 14:34-37 and leading this people down the road to hell. No getting around it, they are perverters of the gospel and enemies to this Church!
English

@ThatGoldenChain I said I think it's great because I knew you'd get fired up about it.
It's interesting how you change the topic and don't deal with the fact that most Biblical scholars don't hold to your interpretation.
Would you like to try again and do some proper exegises?
English

@LukeFHan 1/2 You said your church was rejecting Paul’s teaching and were glad they were doing so.
Sure, liberal scholars have a problem with Paul. They appeal to a cult for context even though Paul appeals to both the creation and the fall for his teaching, not culture or a cult.
English

@silvianagata If you interpreted my post as me being pissed about the announcement, that's a failure on your part.
It makes me wonder why you're trying to read a nasty tone into other's words where none was intended.
Also, I don't live in Utah
English

@ThatGoldenChain No. As you should be aware, there are a wide variety of interpretations of the text. I reject your interpretation, which by the way seems to be the minority view among scholars.
English

@LukeFHan You know more than an apostle? This is insane dude.
English

@YourAnonSaint That's dang cool, commenting to boost the algorithm
English

I personally think the Mormon part is the best part about me.
Mox Resurgam@moxresurgam
@trad_west_ Be like Luke… except for the Mormon part. Don’t be Mormon.
English

@LukeFHan What do you think of the church ignoring Paul’s teachings?
English

@JaredAllebest What's really ironic is that Sunday school president is one of the least powerful positions in the ward. It's literally just because it has "president" in the title.
English

@LukeFHan Feminism has nothing to do with women.
Its about power.
Feminists are fine with unpaid labor as long as it is coupled with power.
English

@BruceSaiFun Of course it's more polytheistic than Islam.
Islam calls Christianity polytheistic!
What are we even doing here?
English

If you want to see how evil, wicked and satanic Mormonism and its' false prophets were/are, then make sure to read these posts, since you will see it is more polytheistic and pagan than Islam:

@RigdonNancy3 @bcbaker66 You don't seem very informed on this topic.

@D4YM4N @LargeInStature_ They believe the Trinity is eternal and that there are hints of the spirit in the OT
English

@LukeFHan @LargeInStature_ Do they believe the Trinity is eternal, or did it form after Jesus died?
If eternal, why is the Holy Spirit not mentioned in the OT?
English

@surskitmaxxing It doesn't follow that just because other people claimed to see visions that Joseph wouldn't be persecuted for his.
English

@LukeFHan It contextualizes it Joseph's alleged vision and helps make his story make more sense. Mormons tend to assume that Joseph was persecuted early on for claiming to see God when many people did. He was initially "persecuted" by his treasure digging pals who felt jibbed.
