I bet your colleagues love your stories.
I have one colleague into banter and he loves hearing the trune tales. I have to be careful around other colleagues, but this one literally can’t get enough. He’s horrified and on total popcorn tenterhooks at the same time.. good bloke, has grown up kids and knows the world’s gone mad (we whisper conspiratorially as it’s a bit taboo in our environment to say the world’s gone funking mad 😅).
He’s even started bringing me his own trune tales he stumbles across. I feel like I’ve done a duty bringing him into the fold 🫡 ☺️🙏

Coincidentally, I was explaining to some work colleagues about the bloke in Canada who turned up at a beauty salon asking to have his balls waxed*, but couldn't remember his name. This has come as a timely reminder.
*You'd be surprised at the amount of people who have no clue about the weirdest trunery.

Cancelling Harry Potter because of Rowling but remaking/doing spin offs of Narnia and LOTR despite Lewis and Tolkien being two of the most prominent Christian figures of the last century who undoubtedly share Rowling’s views she’s been cancelled for. Make it make sense.

I do love it when non-medical people seem to think giving a patient, who is not eating, any food, because they need calories is bad. But, non physicians think that sick kids will just eat carrots, hummus, steak, or whatever. Sometimes we are just happy with any cancer patient getting any calories in any manner.

I had a long term colleague who always reckoned that farting in public was one of the perks of the job. He'd walk round a room, stand beside a kid who'd annoyed him, let one rip and walk away. Other kids would then blame the victim.

Teach people to drive for a living. Had a fully deaf pupil which was fine and ideal really. Music up, not having to make conversation as well.Cracked out a whopper of a fart as well mid lesson without fear of them hearing it. Forgot that deaf people can smell.
